that was an awesome show, walking with dinosoars, but from where i was sitting you could easliy see the legs. If they could find a way to cover that up it would be as real as hell.
Those very stilts were used for the hatchlings of the '98 Godzilla film and were a LOT heavier by comparison. Like I said, they are very hard to walk in, yes, but would be well worth the effort. As for the spacing, the stilts would be on the outermost part of the legs as seen here and would have extensions leading to the feet for support. I have nothing against this form of puppeteering, but for creatures such as this, it no longer gives the illusion of realism.
well lets think if you were walking around in the streets, minding you own business. and this thing came barreling at you, catching you off guard. you wouldnt be looking at the actors legs. youd be looking at the head and teeth. So i dont know why people are bitching, this thing is fantastic!
actually the material on the front is made like buses with the pictures on the glass It looks like it covers the bus on the outside but step in and u can see clear out side. Not sure how man areas are like that on the suit though
i was in the mall and they had this and i didnt know, that thing came up behind me, roared. i jumped out of my sick, peed a little, and screamed like a little girl. ;n;
