Perfect diet gives way more advantage to bigger and/or faster dinos. More hp regen and bleed resist benefits them way more than it does for smaller dinos. But i doubt anyone has think of this ever since the perfect diet has been implemented.
there is a big diff ngl, nice one. The stamina is the biggest problem ngl, but u have been close to kill my fg one time. Just need to be patient and put a lot of bleed. x)
in general: yes Specific situations where its a death sentence: Carno is close to a wall and has its back to it, u'd only have 2 exits, easy predict insta charge. So caution with that specific situation, what i do if i cannot get their rear is double the range i keep on them, at the front and bait a charge and try my best to tailtip it or dodge it completely. In general tho i agree, i always move to their tailtip as a baseline of my actions. the rest is just freestyled ontop of that one single objective.
I think you would have done better if you did not suffer from having Vertigo and the inability to focus while making that Norden clip, you should run that back when your condition improves, i think you can take that one down when you are healthy again. (if you manage to solve the stamina problem at least)
I was almost sure that in the end you would definitely succeed Q-Q It was unsettling to watch a fight with zero stamina. Or maybe it’s right... That an adult carno should defeat a solo omni...
i think its possible, but could also be impossible, depending on your opponent and playstyle, a carno that plays well, is hard to hit to begin with as it just zooms away after a bite making u miss, so idk time will tell if it can be done, i just know i cannot do it yet, but getting my stam empty is a good step, means i would perform just fine in a pack setup.
Sometikese and my friend will to 1v1s with one of us as an Omni because we are both Omni mains and the other will play like an average or slightly above average of another species. Neither of us are good enough at omni to be able to give it our all on both ends without the Omni getting crushed
Most playables have a baseline of carry (meaning they are so formidable that even a good player making a tiny mistake can cause good player to lose it, wich then gets intensified by a good player playing a strong dino vs a good player on weaker dino, you are not gonna win it, unless you heavily outskill that person. and i mean heavily.) Clean example on this: Everyone says carno is underpowered, could use rework this that. Then you fight against Timber, who is a absolute Carno god, and you just realise that this man deletes you in 10 sec cuz he doesnt miss. wich makes the "underpowered" argument laughable at best (granted eat to heal in hordetest does allow to even break trough players like that overtime by healing, but thats the mutation at fault, not a carno issue) Also keep in mind, those that visit pvp servers and practice servers, on average perform higher then survival players, meaning that even if you and your friend consider yourself average , there is a decent chance you already player better then survival players who are more casual. Meaning if you guys can defeat eachother, you can probably cook together in survival quite good. keep doing those matches, i encourage you. Trust u will grow so much overtime!
@@Nickboay I have over 300 hours and he has been playing since the Legacy days and had passed 5000. Most of the techniques you have shown we have been able to learn well enough to apply it in combat. I'd say we are both well above average because of our overall experience and consistancy playing the game. The proof is there when I was soloing carnos on Sparrow for fun. I quit playing Omni for a while because of the horrible desync and if j didn't quit I'd be a lot better than I am right now. He and I also practice PvP in a 200X growth server a lot as well as play in survival usually as an Omni duo.
Yes that was me silly. was having some fun and testing hitbox ranges on matchups. That is why i said there was no need to keep score, because i was not fighting you "smart" or "serious", i just wanted to know how far i could push certain attacks, and thank you for that practice.
@@Gamartt same! i enjoy testing dumb things with the hitbox, winning in a practice match doesn't matter as much to me then figuring out new little angles or tricks to tackle tough situations.

I've 1v1 some slippery omni players on norden trying to learn carno. Most importantly, you can't stand still. Carno turns like a truck unless you slide turn. If the omni is too aggressive, they can run right into it, if I get my timing right. I think you play to the read of the other players level, from what I've seen, Just becoming more aggressive to be aggressive may not work out against a better player. I can't say that you seem to hold back when an attack is called for. Slippery raptors are fun to fight but frustrating, at the same time!
play to the read of the other players level? you mean i play aggro when they are bad and careful when they are good? cuz yeah i kinda do that. Its why i always laugh a little when people say that what i did won't work on a good one, because i am very aware already that i would get munched if i use same strat on every carno. In a way i ignore the playable i am fighting, and i just pay attention to the human behind the wheel sorta speak. How does he/she think, what is he/she trying to do to me, etc and then it becomes Dino Chess. Also i was a bit timid in this fight, i have a little trouble concentrating due to a inner ear infection throwing my balance into whack, its especially nasty when i have to move my eyes around on the screen a lot, it almost completely blurs my vision for 2 seconds. (Yes i will take care of it dw)
@@Nickboay yes, that's exactly what I mean. I didn't see a lot of your earlier fights but watch how you play now, I wouldn't say just becoming more aggressive would be of benefit. As you say, tailor your fight based on what the other does. Obviously, knowing the other playable mechanics allows you to work to their disadvantage. From my perspective, you have that down.
