I agree we don’t know the wheat from the tares and for this reason we should pray for them all at all times and walk in love toward all men. I see so many professing Christianity condemning other professing Christians. We can disagree with others and when we know that one is in sin we should pray first then correct them in the love of Christ. Too many are judging without mercy and trying to beat the devil out of others . How much damage are we doing? I do not condone sin when it is clearly a sin, however I have witnessed some condemning ,other brothers and sisters in Christ , to eternal damnation and hell over a lack of understanding of scripture like on the timing of the rapture. It breaks my heart.

The point is there is one harvest at the last trumpet. The dead in Christ will be raised first then those who are alive and remain will be caught up.

And the Angels that fly around telling people to repent....they are the ones who make sure the whole world hears, so God can finish it all up.

My favorite passage for disproving pretrib is 2 Thess 2:1-4: it clearly shows sequence as Great Falling away, antichrist revealed, rapture, day of the Lord

I listened to this teaching again and I have the same questions. 1. Could the parable of the wheat and the tares be about the events that happen at the end of the Millennial kingdom? Rather than about the events just prior to the Millennial kingdom? Consider the sequence of events and see what makes more sense: At the Rapture, the righteous are taken and the wicked are left. In the parable, the wicked are taken and bundled then burned, then the righteous are gathered into barns. At the end of the Millennial kingdom, the wicked are gathered to attack the New Jerusalem and then fire comes down from heaven to burn them up. Then the righteous are left in the city and on the earth. 2. What is the end of the age? Is it A. When the Rapture happens and later Jesus comes to set up the Millennial Kingdom? Or B. When God destroys Satan and then destroys the heavens and the earth at the end of the Millennial kingdom? Or C. Are both of these descriptions of the end of different ages? 3. How many ages are there? Does each 1000 year period constitute an age? Or, Is the age from the creation of the earth until the destruction of the earth? Just some thoughts and questions to consider

That burning happens in the great judgement at the very end of the age. The last and final act against those that denied God and Christ.... Rev 20:11-15

“Sign of your coming” I know Mathew 24:30 is the rapture but how do you know they meant rapture not Second Coming when they asked this question?

One thing I learned while farming with my Grandfather is the difference between the wheat and the tares. They do look similar, but only until the harvest. The tares grow about one foot taller than the wheat. That's how they are gathered at the time of the harvest, as they are then easy to spot among the wheat. They are just clipped off and gathered in order to collect their seed heads in an effort to purify the wheat clean of them for next year. They MUST be removed to do this. They cannot be left in the field. If they are not burned, they will return. They must be gathered first and burned first, lest the wind blows them back into the field. Besides, the tares remain green in the harvest because they mature later. This makes them easy to collect as they contrast their green color against they light brown wheat. So the tares are both taller and greener. The seed heads must be collected to avoid intermingling the seeds with the wheat while the stalks are not uprooted lest they uproot the wheat too. This would leave some seeds of both wheat and tares on the ground where it would regrow. The stalks can stay with the standing straw and thus become of some value. Farmers find a use, even for straw of both kinds. So, in my view, the tares will be burned up before the harvest can begin. This seems to match better Matthew 24:29 and 30. The sun and the moon were darkened by the smoke of the burning tares before the harvest of the wheat. Here it is in the NLT: '29 “Immediately after the anguish of those days, the sun will be darkened, the moon will give no light, the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken. 30 And then at last, the sign that the Son of Man is coming will appear in the heavens, and there will be deep mourning among all the peoples of the earth. And they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he will send out his angels with the mighty blast of a trumpet, and they will gather his chosen ones from all over the world-from the farthest ends of the earth and heaven.' What makes me think our skies will be darkened by the smoke? Revelation 9:2 'Then the fifth angel blew his trumpet, and I saw a star that had fallen to earth from the sky, and he was given the key to the shaft of the bottomless pit. 2 When he opened it, smoke poured out as though from a huge furnace, and the sunlight and air turned dark from the smoke. itellwhy.com.

Back in 2012 I prayed and I fasted for months asking Jesus to show me which is correct pre-trib, post-trib, prewrath.... so many good preachers on all sides with what appears to be credible biblical evidence for all.. finally after a few months I had two identical dreams in the same night. I was standing in a wheat field it was ready to be harvested and I Heard a Voice, "I'm coming for the Wheat and the tears at the same time". And I looked up into the sky and I saw my younger brother smiling, his face took up a third of the sky and he was in his mid-20s. To this day he is still alive, I don't know if God gave a sign that he wasn't coming until my brother was taken but I sure wasn't expecting that. Anyway, He answered me with scripture. just like God does.

Your points of views never disappoint Nelson. I was born again at a Seventh Day Adventist church and was having this discussion once with some members of such congregation about this same subject. They believe that our salvation depends on us by practically keeping ourselves in the law. I remember I told them that John 17 was a failure then because JESUS Prayer failed, because if my salvation depends on me then I blew it a long time ago; there’s no grace in the law because it can only condemn you. This is another meaning: the kingdom of Satan and his children is so profoundly interwoven with the entire world that removing the children of Satan would end up destroying the children of God as well. Only God has the power to separate the two perfectly during the end times.

The bundling of the tares before the harvest will identify and segragate the faithless from the faithful. What prophetic event before the Lord's return serves that purpose? Yes, it says in Rev 14 :14-16 that Christ and some angels carry sickles but read what the NEXT verses say: 17 And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. 18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe. 19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the WRATH of God. 20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs. The sickle is to gather the evil people and destroy them at Armageddon !! Also, if people are raptured near the end of the wrath of God when did the wedding feast and Bema seat judgement in heaven take place? Paul's letter to the Thessalonians conclusively proves a pre-Trib rapture as they were terrified of the evil of the day and had thought they had missed the rapture!!

Just a thought. The parable says we are gathered into the BARN.Throne room, glassy sea, I think so, but what is it exactly that freaks out the world, making people hide in caves, the sign of the Son of Man, splitting open the sky? Maybe New Jerusalem, that's what Yeshua was going away to prepare JN 14. Though not mentioned descending until Rev 21-22, does that mean descending to the earth finally, instead of hovering in the clouds for a 1000 years during the kingdom, perhaps available only to the resurrected until a new heaven and earth. Matt 11:27 His servant recognize the tares at an early stage so to speak. But they are unstructed to leave them to the harvest. How long before the harvest is this? Who do the servant represent in the parable ? What qualifies the servants to recognize the tares ?

@19:29 The quote from Revelation 6 describes part of the 6th Seal judgment in which there was a great earthquake, the sun turned black, the moon turned to blood, the sky rolled up like a scroll, and the stars fell to earth (see Revelation 6: 12-14). I personally think this is closely related to the Trumpet judgments of Revelation 8. which describe different views of a blazing mountain being thrown into the sea (see Revelation 8: 7-12). I strongly suspect this is a spiritual description of a comet or asteroid striking the earth during the Antichrist's reign. I also think this ties in with Isaiah 34: 4 which says "All the stars in the sky will be dissolved and the heavens rolled up like a scroll; all the starry host will fall like withered leaves from the vine, like shriveled figs from the fig tree." Consider this: the descriptions found in Revelation 6 and 8 are consistent with the side effects of an asteroid striking an ocean. There would be an earthquake from the impact shock. The impact would blow ejecta, including ocean water and bedrock, into the atmosphere, darkening the sun. The ejecta would fall back to earth as huge "hailstones". Ocean water would fall to earth, poisoning water supplies worldwide. The larger pieces of ejecta would fall to earth sooner, like ripe figs, while some of the smaller ejecta particles would linger in the air like a dirty smog, making the sky opaque near the horizon and making the moon look red. Surviving people would have seen the asteroid coming for weeks or months, would know the origin of the ejecta falling on them, would remember the extinction of the dinosaurs, and know they were facing imminent starvation and death.

I notice (with dismay) that folk are more concerned about the timing of the rapture than they are about the turning of tares into wheat. Maybe there will be three raptures? Scripture is deliberately obtuse, because, if we had a precise timetable we would be making all sorts of weird plans and wild statements. Concern yourself not when our Lord will return (be ready, of course) but rather concern yourselves with the BILLIONS who will NOT be included, some of them because you were not at your post, you were too concerned about yourself and our Lord's timing which is for Him and Him alone to know. The wheat is the first harvest there are later harvest like grapes . We dont harvest everything at the same time. You must distinguish the difference between the church and the Jews during the tribulation why would he say pray that it’s not in the winter or on a Sabbath when Christians don’t really observe the Sabbath because he’s talking to Jews

But, he is eluding that in Ezekiel 38:17 this event (Gog) starts just before the Sorrows & Birth Pains also. I reason I say this is just prior in Ezekiel 38:12 he is talking about the dry bones of Daniel 7. This is one reason I believe that Erdogan/Prominent Horn is also Gog of Ezekiel.

Where does it say the harvest/fish is taken to Heaven?

GOD’s people will be taken after the great tribulation, the people or Tares will be left to burn. Why bundle them together? Because GOD’s people either be killed or jailed, all the evil deeds or their fruits of the Tares in the end time will show up and like the sheaves been bundled to be burned. It is so obvious from Yeshua’s teaching and from the book of revelation.

Hi Nelson, Could the "end of the age" actually be at the end of the Millennial Kingdom? And Not at the Rapture? Just as there is more than one coming of Jesus, could there be more than one harvest event? An early harvest at the Rapture, and a late harvest at the end of the Millennial kingdom? What is an age? Rev 14- the 144 k sealed are Jews from 12 tribes, 14: 9-12 these are the tribulation saints that were saved after rapture, and the beast system. As I prayed about this, God showed you are mistaken on this one.

Close, but not correct. The Rapture is a Pre-tribulation Harvest. At the 2nd Coming of Jesus (at the End of the Age) there is a Post-Tribulation Harvest where the Tares are thrown into Hell to be burned.
