They were relevant decades before this Interview as well. Nothing changes. Too bad Jans Joplin died a few months later of an Opioid overdose. She was only 27yrs old.
Raquel Welch wasn't a natural beauty and with her "real nose, she wasn't a beauty. Check out her before nose... I don't think people realize that plastic surgery has been going on in Hollywood for 60 or 70 years.
@@bindisister8634 I sat across from her in a restaurant in NYC in the late eighties,my date was a model who had been on several magazine covers and was close to 25 years her junior and still their was no comparison to Raquel's beauty which I assure you was not only the result of a 1960's nose job,Beauty is in the eye.... as they say but I think you may be in a small minority when it comes to this
Kim Kardashian is naturally ugly. It's crazy how she pays people to photoshop her body and face on top of all the fake plastic surgeries. It's fucking crazy
I know it seems like Janis is interrupting to be annoying but I think she is just a polite soul who is connecting with what Welch is talking about and it’s making her comfortable with the vibe of the show at the moment.
That's very true. Janis really wanted to be a people person, and loves it when she can relate to certain topics. She was only trying to validate what Ms Welch was saying.
Both Raquel and Janis provide interesting insight into the controlling nature of the entertainment industry, and most industry really... not too much has changed.
Raquel is a goddess, i can’t think of anyone that comes close... Myra Breckinridge is a great movie too., it’s like a crazy dream... watch with an open mind
Screen legend Raquel Welch has died at the age of 82. Welch’s family told TMZ she died on the morning of Wednesday, February 15, 2023 after a short illness. Her exact cause of death was not disclosed as of this time Welch rose to fame in the 1960s with TV roles on Bewitched, The Virginian, and McHale’s Navy. Her star rose higher with the 1966 films Fantastic Voyage and One Million Years B.C., and she went on to became a major sex symbol of the decade and beyond. Ms. Welch won a Golden Globe for her role in Richard Lester’s 1973 adaptation of “The Three Musketeers.”
@@fifthbusiness1678 What Florida said is true. There are some very beautiful women (and men) in the world. Just as beautiful and some even more beautiful than movie stars. They just wear more clothes and do ordinary jobs, and are not on any movie screen for you to notice.
I saw her on some interview with Pierce Morgan omg she is still stunning! Late 70's i believe she is? Sure she had work done but not that grotesque injected swollen face like susan somer's has. Absolutely stunning and so classy. They don't make masterpieces like this anymore. Kardashian's? Cardi B? Garbage!🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
Janis has natural beauty, raw & unrefined without the aid of layers of makeup or surgery. Raquel is gorgeous with the aid of great makeup & surgical enhancements, yet not over done, not over the top. Just the right amount of perfection. Working in the Beauty Industry basically my whole life I appreciate Beauty in everyone. I must say I wasn't alive back when this was filmed, but the ladies back then were by far more gorgeous. Celebrities now well.. no comparison.
I have nothing against the other celebs that were on this show but is this channel ever going to show the Dick Cavett shows where he interviews Jackie Gleason or Art Carney? How about any Honeymooners actors that were part of the main cast? These are rarities much like the other videos around here.
The panic was the rioters broke through the police line yes,....... But not for Raquel....they Broke through lines trying to get through to MaeWest...... Raquel was scared and backed-up from fans that's why they grabbed her. MaeWest handled the crowed like the pro she was....after all they were mostly there for her....

@Trixie K i looked her up, a cute girl-pretty but not as beautiful-- raquel's face angles and porportions, She needed no props nor makeup even. Just stunningly naturally beautiful.
The good olde dys. WHen we had quality talk show. gues were legends in their own field...film, music...what are the chances? 2 on one show.... today in 203...WHO IS THAT??? Wech. Have to respect who she was. One of the few if not the only "beautiul" actress" who neer gave in to "lude behaviour to releva....do nuity, simlated sex scenes....and do things i their prive lives that would send families into hidig...welch styed true to her beliefs.
Janis keeps interrupting, Janice was interviewed before. Maybe Janis was not happy in herself and was jealous? Janice should have left the stage before Raquel.
No way..that was the format of those days. More of a roundtable talk, with guests hanging around as different folks joined the host. Carson was the master of that interaction, and big names would stay to talk or just watch as others joined the party. Janis was fine, but you folks seem a bit uptight, as Raquel remarked!!
@Neran Okari I'm not trying to stir up anything but rather make observations. The plain fact is that Joplin for much of her adult life was under the influence of substances. Other interviews I've seen she seems off as well.
