This car is BEAUTIFUL. Color, interior, exterior all over beautiful and it's an L body. Look at that shine simply stunning. I could go on and on. What I do know is how well these cars are serviced that Anthony sells. Because I'm there with him. Papa 🐻
You’re right Papa Bear. But you’re part of the service to make sure Anthony’s cars are perfect before he sells them! We couldn’t do without your help!!
They used the long based Lincolns for hotels, airports, amd as limousines for corporate businesses. Because the L" waseasier to get in. Especially in New York City..to call for a car for a ride most of thecars would be black silver or white Town Cars. When I visited New York I was in Town Car heaven. They would be lined up outside the hotel waiting to be hired..I.have drove Lincoln Town car since 1989. Looking for another one I own a 1999. Been watching your videos. I lesrned about the dreaded water leak from you thank you. No mechanic knew everyone said it was the air conditioning, except one old school.mechanic.and you. The most beautiful car ever made.
Once again, you disappear for a couple weeks. Then bang, you're back and definitely hit one out of the ball park with this gorgeous beauty. I thought I got to have this one! I was so relieved though when you said long wheel base. The standard wheel base is long enough for me I also saw the price was a bit beyond my budget. And there was a reason! This one is way to nice for the streets of Baltimore, and not having a garage. But someone with a garage is going to be thrilled to get this one. And I'm real patient, knowing that the right one for me will magically appear when the time is right. Anthony, you do such a fantastic job. No one on You Tube or Face Book has EVERYONE liking your channel and in all these years everything i read and hear about you is ALWAYS positive. You know the secret, Love what you do, Do it better than everyone else. And be honest. Works every time...yet so few realize it.
I wonder if it belonged to the governors office of Tennessee or maybe a state Supreme Court justice or similar. What did the car fax say? There is a way to find previous registration information. Supposed to snow in Maine next week!!
The Cadillac Fleetwood Limited from 1995 - 1999 also came like this as well very rare to see as well. Nice car would love to own one for a Sunday drive.
I always enjoy your videos. I share your love of and interest in Cadillacs and Lincolns. Please let me help you with the correct pronunciation- Cartier is pronounced " Car- T- A"
I have owned my 2001 Lincoln Town Car Cartier L for 3 years and love it. It now has 95,000 miles and drives like new. Your beautiful example of this elegant car is a bargain at half the price of a new rollerskate car. We all know that you have gone over this car with a fine tooth comb so the buyer will have years of troublefree ownership.
Graduating c/o 00🎓 , this was my car at the prom. My mother rented it from Enterprise and refused to let me drive it. Lol had my older brother drive me
Classy TC, neat colors too. Chip here, scratch there, who cares? I dig the oval back lit clock but, the scratch on dash is unacceptable. The scuff on leather back seat side, no biggie. The floor mats are in terrific shape.
That is one hell of a nice car!! If I didn't already have my 2002 Lincoln Town Car and had a little more money I'd buy this thing in a New York minute! My partner would kill me BUT he'd have to get over it LOL. Again....stunning car and I hope it goes to the right kind of buyer and doesn't get trashed by lack of maintenance.
Bland and boring....another 2000s era Lincoln that can still be found virtually anywhere. Nothing special about it. Bring some more classics to the channel that are "special".
I think that the distinctive B pillar gives the side view of this car a great look. It is far more limo-like when looking at it from the side profile. This is just a beautiful car!!!!
Anthony, I appreciate that u always share the work that you performed on your cars before saling them. I see so many other videos from dealers where i can tell from their videos that did nothing besides cleaning them before they offer them for sale on utube . Again, thank you.
That's a very purdy ride Anthony! Sadly no extra car cash for me for the next couple years. But I'll keep watching, dreaming...of getting one of your cool LTC's into my garage soon.
Special Purpose Lincoln and Mercury's were usually for government executives with heavy duty parts. This generation of Lincolns was popular for law enforcement agencies responsible for transportation of governors and mayors before the SUV craze and the last RWD cars.
You have the best older cars, and you take pride in your inventory. I’m a Pastor in Omaha Nebraska. I plan on buying one of your Town Car. Or should I say preacher car. May the Lord continue to prosper your business. Tell pop’s hello!
This 2001 reminded me of my past TC, 1999 touring sedan edition, white metallic with white interior. Had the chrome wheels, white number moldings, dual exhaust plus supposedly the smaller torque converter. Loved that car!
Hey Anthony and Papa bear, as always such a treat to see your thumbnail pop-up! wow what a beauty! someone is going to get a spectacular deal on that car for what you have it priced for! thanks for sharing! look forward to the next video! Love your channel!
Absolutely gorgeous car! The Town Car is by far my favorite car ever built. Always has been and always will be! I’m still upset that they stopped production!
From 1981 there was no change in the structure From 1991 the humble engine is the same V8 4.6L SOHC The gearbox has not changed since then It lacks some power compared to competitors Safety in this car is less than competitors And you say you are upset because they stopped producing it????
@@jehadhjaya2767 Regardless of your thoughts & opinions, yes, I still love them and remain disappointed that production was discontinued! Have a great day!
Morning Tony and Papa Bear, I owned an 89 Cartier Towncar and loved it! I wasn’t a fan of this style but have to say with that color and long wheelbase I think is one for the books, love it. Actually love the fact it has no sunroof and Tony you do make me laugh 😂 “came in with black wall tires, a real travesty” and I agree. Thank you both again for bringing these classics to us, love you guys!!!
Could you find any holes drilled under the dashboard or lift the front carpet transmission hump to see if any holes there for possible emergency equipment. (Police radio). Maybe it was a VIP singer living in Tennessee!
Hey Anthony & Papa Bear, I see that you're inside so it must be cold outside!!! This Carrier L is stunning!!! It's beautiful inside & out!!! This car will make its new owners very happy!!! Thanks for sharing another exciting video!!! 👍👍🙂
@@paulgozzo9178 Hey Papa Bear, one of the nice parts of living in Southern California is that it doesn't really get that cold, if it's in the 40s here people think that they're going to freeze & we never have to worry about salt on the roads & rusty cars!!! 🙂
Hello just putting it out there to your car would univers Anthony by writing a message on your channel will give me the guidance to some day purchase one of your beautiful cars. I am a Cadillac lover and appreciate your videos, thank you for inspiring me in how you care and restore cars to perfect condition.
A very beautiful car, original and the pride of the American industry. How can I buy this car, knowing that I am in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia? Do you have a number that I can contact you with?
@@patcurrie9888 by having a white stripe on the sidewall I think it’s pretty clear it’s a “white wall” tire. Now even though it’s a thin white wall it’s still a “ white wall”. The inch and a quarter wide white walls ones from 70’s & 80’s are different and wider than a standard white wall as well still a white wall. Regardless it’s a white wall tire despite the size of the white line, be it thin standard wide or like a 50’s or 60’s “gangster” it’s still a white wall
A 21 year old car that only needed a little over 3 grand to bring it up to immaculate condition is a testament on how well built these tanks really are.
100% ROYALTY !! I drove limousines for 14 years...usa and canada. Xtra big post screams ROYALTY. Subtle tints on the windows is for glare. They want to be seen.. I'm thinking this car was used for royalty. It's over the top.... I've seen the late queen of england up close in limusine sedans.......she was often in motorcades with sedans. Simple, elegant and shiny.
I dont understand why dont u put the floor mats back inside instead of the trunk .but anyways its a really nice town car color pops with the chrome wheel
Hello Anthony just to clear the air I'm on your short list for wrong reason! You misinterpreted my comment a while back ago, it was not meant to be an insult in any shape or form!! I nearly meant your making a nice living period !! Sorry for the misunderstanding. Your a nice guy, I like breaking balls just for fun😂. Hope this will make you feel at ease.
If you can find first registration, it may have been government, like mayor car. One year a friend and I bought two Rome U.S. embassy cars, one belong to the Ambassador and other escort. Neither one had special built titles.
how rare are cartiers rare now? i dont mean the L series thou the general cartiers? I just purchased a 2003 Cartier for 2100 has 139k miles beautiful no rust maintained need door ginge replacement for the driver's door any site recommendations?
The door isn’t as attractive to me… which almost makes you want it more for the novelty. I wouldn’t say I wont own a TC from 98-02, it was just instantly overshadowed by the 03 styling in my mind. But I would rock this. Also: Car-tee-AY LOL (I’m just busting your chops because I can 😂 don’t be mad!)
