Want to hear us perform this song live in concert? USA and Canada tour tickets are on sale now! rareamericans.com/tour The wait is over. Brittle Bones Nicky 3 is here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jr42N2cGe4Q.html
the way they hugged at the end it seemed like real joy not fake so I think in this song their not actually wanting to hurt the other and the gun and knife are symbolic of their defenses when it came to the depression of losing the other and the knife and gun they have is a reference to knives guns and bed I think this is either telling us the this will end bad like in knives guns and bed or it will be a happier better ending where they both put down the knife and gun and just finally be together personally I'm hoping for the second option what about you guys.
@@RareAmericansI like saying stuff, so I’m gonna say stuff on November 12th, 2001, American Airlines Flight 587 crashed into Belle Harbor at roughly 9:17 AM due to the overuse of the rudder controls by the co-pilot, Sten Mulin. This has nothing to do with 9/11
When is your next tour in America scheduled? I reside in Texas, making it challenging to secure tickets for international shows. By the time I can afford them, they are usually sold out, necessitating a wait for the next opportunity.
Jazz, blues, a bit of rock, radio voice, it just mixes and the story, heavy but smooth, thank you Rare Americans band for the music and the years you have lit up P.S FINALLLYYYYYYY THE START OF ROCK AND POP MUSIC AKA BLUES
Once again RA never fails to amaze me with their original style and making songs in music genres that I would have never guessed u will explore. Insanely good song once again!!!
Honestly! It feels like such wasted potential for that story. Imagine instead we pick up right where Berlin left off instead and Alfred gets a knock on the door from those two agents from the original song for "One Last Mission". To take out an enemy spy that is planning to assassinate a politician or some important figure at the upcoming Gala/Ball. The song starts heavy and serious, as he prepares for his mission. Then the day of the Gala arrives and the tempo rises slowly with the dancing figures around Alfred, as it reaches a crescendo he spots Anna Berlin in a stunning dress behind the politician, gun in hand ready to be drawn. The music stops. A verse or two from James. Alfred rushes in as he intercepts Anna, whether to complete his mission or embrace her he isnt sure yet. The music and lyrics are a mix of confusion and melancholy, Anna him are both confused on what to do, a mix of hostility and love. Until he realizes, He could have done better, and now he chooses to go all in. He kisses Ana. Scene. I feel like a lot of the storytelling with RA has been lost and its why ive mostly dropped off.
I swear, the rare Americans have their own universe with these music videos. The old guy that helps the main character in gas mask is old brittle bones nicky
Different take this is young them Berlin ends with a old Alfred trying to write a letter to her. What if they were spies that fell for each other. This song is them starting out as two sides of the same coin, spies tasked with stopping the other. Instead they start falling for each other. Berlin marks the end of them being together. In that video she's the one being chased and Alfred helps her. The actual city Berlin was split in half during the cold War so it fits. A song named after a city split in two during the height of espionage, is about two rival spies, now lovers escaping the authorities of one side to be free.
Aw thanks, Shelby! Glad you dig this one! If you're in Europe, we're headed out on tour for our only tour dates of 2024! rareamericans.com/tour if you want to take a look at the dates!
Another Rare americans banger! Been a fan since 2019 and you guys have only gotten better as the years go by keep this up guys. Loved searching for strawberries and cant wait for another american tour!
Been listening since i saw Cats, Dogs and A Rat on a youtube ad, and i gotta say i love your music. Its helped me through some dark times in my life and Baggage helped me through a lot. I love your calmer music like Berlin but i love the faster ones like rhythm kitchen as well! I wish i couldve seen ya'll live!
for some reason I'm imagining this couple are mob/gang bosses, but when they break up, the girl starts her own gang/mob and it quickly rises to rival her ex's one.
Damn I’m surprised there’s only 3 other comments I enjoy this song a lot the word love is a very strong word that doesn’t need to be thrown around as much as it is this song is great and just tells why the word love doesn’t need to be thrown around like it is because people think they “love” someone or something and it’s truly not good for them nor what they deserve
I really like this. The jazz/blues style, the slow beat, the right amount of rock and the Noir and “Mr and Mrs Smith” vibe that the clip and the song convey literally captivated me. Honestly, this is one of my favorite songs from Friday's new batch of songs, anyway, I was worried about the band focusing more on quantity over quality, but after listening to this song, the concern disappeared.
Thank you! Love that reference too. We spent the last two years working on these songs and seeing comments like this lets us know that we're doing the right thing. So glad you dig this. We just announced a tour too, are you in Europe?
@@RareAmericans Well, I'm from Brazil but I have relatives in Europe, specifically in Germany and Switzerland and I wish I could go there even more because of this tour, but it's complicated like a little bit because the ticket price is really expensive.
Now this is my type of music! Nice and jazzy and a bit mysterious! Keep up the great work RareAmericans! ( Sadly I don't live in Europe so I can't go see you guys but this is by far a great song! )
@@RareAmericans Loving X on you, stupid heart, and fortune cookies the most as of now, All of them are pretty awesome in their own right though. Good work overall I'd say
Could this be a continuation of Berlin? Because I love Berlin and every RA song is fantastic! but especially those that have sequences! I love love love!❤
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR user-0p3pu3dj5h, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! Come celebrate when we go on tour this fall! Are you in Europe?
Was this inspired by the Song Rain by Grandson? This seems so similar in tone to it that I feel like it that was in some form inspired by it! This is a complement as I Love both songs very much.
