Whitney has done concerts in Brunei two times *April 25, 1995 in Brunei (princess b-day) *August 26, 1996 in Brunei (wedding celebrate)

YES!!! Finally!! A full song from her mysterious Brunei '95 private concert! 🤩 ❤‍🔥👌 Despite the somewhat distorted audio, I REALLY enjoyed that! Just when you think you've heard every arrangement Whitney ever did with this song, she surprises us with YET ANOTHER spectacular and unique rendition of her signature hit! There is so much going on here to take note of, so many unique runs and inflections. Also it seems she's singing it in a lower key than normal - A semitone lower than when she last performed it (South Africa November '94?) which was its self a semitone lower than the recording... No wonder she sounds so DEEP and thick here! But in some ways her vocal condition appears to be better than the second appearence in Brunei where her performance of this song (back in the usual key) stuck much closer to the recording and had less riffing / improvisation. I SOOOOOOO want to be able to hear the full audio from this concert and I know I'm not the only one. When will her estate stop messing around and start properly releasing these live performances for purchase on CD/MP3...? They would sell, without question!

Fact of the day !!! Although the head note arrangement/keys/runs per the climax are the first time heard performing IWALY, they are not first time we have heard them. The exact same head notes are sang per her performance of Saving all my love for you per her November 1994 Johannesburg concert.

Oh my. Thank you for sharing! I haven't heard this before -- and trust me, I've heard them all. This was from a private concert she did for the Royal Family of Brunei in 1995. Totally different from the two major concerts she did there the year after for which she was paid $7,000,000 USD.

And it was this show and the subsequent singapore show that caused her bodyguard to write that letter about her concerns and how the doctors said her nodules were getting worse. He was then fired straight after. He just wanted to help her

I miss Whitney so much. You can tell she still had vocal nodules in this performance, her voice sounded sore. But she pulled through. Her 96 performance was way better. ♥️
