This book has never been recorded into an audiobook before! Written sometime in the early 1600s, last (and probably first) translated into English in 1904, this is an epic volume of true stories from the sixteenth century. Brantome was a noble in his time and traveled in elite circles so he is able to give us details of many of the personal conflicts, manners, and oddities of the high culture of the time.

Some of the duels he recounts from history.
Some duels ended in death.
Some duels ended with injury.
Some duels were avoided altogether.
