I felt the same way about costume jewelry until a piece captured my full attention at a yard sale. Paid $10.00 and it sold two weeks later for $160.00. I watch him and try to absorb enough to recognize something someday! Blessings
What an incredible haul. Good business practice by tossing in the Killer Tomato. That’s what great about buying from a small store when the owner is there. A regular clerk just can’t do that for you.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE seller that are like this guy. If i spend a couple hundred somewhere and they just throw in a 20-50$ item free. I will 100% return over and over to spend my money. Good for this guy. I hope his shop stays profitable for a long time.

I remember watching them film attack of the killer tomatoes IV in San Diego. I was 9 years old and they approached me asking if I wanted to be in the film. although during my scene they time lapsed it but if you slow it down you can see a chubby little kid holding a beach ball running across the beach. That was fun.. they paid me $40 for that. lmao.
Great Video - This is a great series of videos as these brick and mortar collectible shops aren't around as much as they used to be. Very nice to support them and highlight them. Love the comic style editing you did too. great job!

I used to have all the mask stuff as a kid. My favourite was the big oil tanker with the rocket inside. boulder hill gas station was great as well though. EDIT: oh wow, I think that he had the oil tanker in there... I've not seen that since the 80's or something.

Yea it is pretty nuts when you have a store (which im sure theres hundreds) that have unique stuff. Whether or not tis sealed, crazy how those stores can get cool deals like that.
Hmm, 1st time watching this video series from you. I also have my old "Trapper Keeper" from high school and I store some of my top baseball cards, in plastic, inside of it. I've had it tucked away for years, since the 80's, with those cards inside. I also collected "Garbage Pail Kids", I was freaking addicted to them. Good luck on the series man. :D
Definitely look into the Kilmer autograph if you can. It's a cool piece and all, but the signatures are hit or miss, usually autopen, even on official merch. The autograph market is so saturated by autopen and outright fakes that I personally don't trust anything I don't obtain myself. But Beckett or PSA can authenticate it and that can definitely help you in the long run.
Not sure if you have found this out on your own already or not, but they made 300 of the Batman Forever Sonar Batarangs. I would guess you have already figured out that it folds up and is spring loaded to open back up when you push the button. I have seen two of them sell, besides yours; one for $500 and one for $800. The $800 one did have the original box though. Outside of yours, I know where 6 others are in private collections (not actively for sale). So they aren't impossible to find if you really wanted one and was willing to open the checkbook wide (I'm sure one of those 6 would sell for the right price), but certainly not something you see everyday.
@@diabolik2814 I know people that have them. Manufacturers register their barcodes and if you search the barcode registry, the description says limited to 300 pieces. I guess it’s possible they made others using a different barcode, but I doubt it. They were made by a company called the Hollywood Collectibles Group. These came with the letter. Limited to 300. Made of aluminum. However, a guy named Henry Wayne produced a functioning replica too and sold dozens of them. Offered in silver, gold, and black. It was 1:1 in size and looks nearly identical to the HCG version. Made of die cast. Then China got in the game and coped the one made by Henry Wayne, producing a 1:1 metal replica too. Also die cast. You just missed your chance to buy an official one. One was auctioned off on June 22 by PropstoreAuction.

Hi Holly...the guy's name is Sammy Terry...he always played scary movies bahahah. I'm 60 he was around when I was a kid. I remember I was terrified of him. I would watch the movie but would cover my eyes when he came back on. 🤣😂

I am a fellow Hoosier so I love watching you go to stores that I both frequent and have not heard about before! Question if you don’t mind, but understandable if you don’t want to give away trade secrets… lol. Where do you find yard sales at these days? Stopping at ones I see signs for inevitability takes time to sales that are almost entirely made up of old baby clothes!

I'm wracking my brain I know I saw a video once where someone had one of those batarangs and was selling it I dunno if it was an awful pawn show or a comic collectable place but it was that prop for sure.
