That old plane belongs to the Sands company, a company that owned the Venetian, Venezzia and Palazzo in Las Vegas, they had another one just like it, but once they had it parked at an airport in Louisiana for maintenance reasons and in that time a hurricane was affecting that area, the plane suffered a lot of damage and was considered a total loss.
Now Owned by Sands (formerly Las Vegas Sands who owned the Venetian). I think they have two of them. Trivia: The Late Sheldon Adelson, CEO of Las Vegas Sands, sent this plane to China multiple times during the pandemic to pick up PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) which was donated to first responders and hospital personnel in the Metro Las Vegas Area.
Hello, sir, thank you for your video of this 747SP. I myself am trying to capture a takeoff or landing of any 747, and was wondering if there is any flight manifest showing which types of planes arrive and depart Harry Reid International airport, so I can prepare for photographing it with my equipment. I have been meaning to get into planespotting for a while, but obstacles have been holding me back till about now.
