As a pseudo-collector/hoarder I have acquired a motley selection of Victorian & Edwardian glass over the years. There are a few toastmasters & rummers in those but my favourites are the saucer bowl faceted champagne glasses with a straight narrow stem. I have four - they look so classy & delicate & their "ping" is fantastic, so beautiful each with a slightly different long sound tone. My second favourite is a much later era, some classy Harbridge sherry/cordial glasses, beautifully cut pattern, & very melodic pings too. It seems to me that the main upward trend in glass values seems to be 20th Century Scandinavian art glass like Holmegaard, Orrefors, Lutkens, & Murano glass appears to be nothing like as desirable as it was 20-30 years ago?

I loved this video. I learned a lot from it. I'm going to search better in the thrift stores in Holland for rough pontil marks.
