I finally got my surpise order from Ebay, PLUS another SURPRISE order from Ebay! I'm going to show you how to set up a Nurture Right 360 incubator and how to correctly incubate goose eggs
I’m impressed and excited for you. The differences in the eggs is unreal. Good luck in the incubation process. I can’t wait to see the results.💕🙋🏼♀️🙏🏻
It really is unreal! And then to see how quickly they grow inside… it never gets old to incubate eggs! I am so curious to see how they’re all going to look… the ducks are just some that will be mixed with mine outside so I have no clue how they’ll end up looking lol
Yay! Happy hatching!!! I’ve never hatched geese before! My family LOVES to candle and look for flutters and veins! ☺️ So much fun is happening at y’all’s house! ☺️
Hey, y’all! I’m excited to see them hatch, Meredith! I see the new life! I’ve not seen fuzzy geese. I hope they aren’t mean like other types. Stay safe! Take care! Prayers and Blessings always
I hope they’re not mean either LOL We have two baby geese right now and they follow me EVERYWHERE like dogs! They’re so sweet 😍 I am sooo curious how these are going to turn out!
I don't know, but the way the edging of the egg holder on the turner is, it looks like one separator has a triangle on each end and one is a straight edge, so I wonder if those straight edge ones pop out so that you can move them over for your bigger or smaller eggs. I'd be interested to find out if you can do that.
So, 6 were fertile. 5 ended up actually developing.. and then 2 stopped developing later on. I hatched three!! I will try to do a post with pictures of them!! I videoed their hatching. All three of mine hatched wrong end of the egg and I had to help each one out.. but they are all super cute and healthy and thriving! You’ll have to let me know how many you get! That’s so exciting. Hatching geese was definitely much different than chickens and guineas lol
@@fancyonfourteenThis is my first time incubating any eggs & I feel like I choose one of the more difficult ones (should of started with chickens haha). I ordered 10, she shipped me 14. 10 were fertile. 3 stopped developing part way through. 7 left at lockdown. We're in the midst of hatching right now but so far we have 6 babies hatched & #7 has externally pipped but not zipped yet! Looking forward to your video & congratulations on your new goslings
Wouldn't it be easier to take turner out and turn them all. A water sprayer would be better than shaking eggs under the tap. They could become detached from air sac. Looking forward to seeing the hatch
I could take it out but I have cats, and I don’t want to risk them jumping up there and accidentally knocking the incubator and moving them all ( don’t ask me how I know lol) …that’s why I left the tray in place. I did order a tray specifically for goose eggs, but I have not received it yet..that will be nice once I do! Yes, you can do the spray bottle! Since I have the sink right there , I don’t mind running them under it… I think most people don’t even know to get their goose eggs wet. After doing lots of reading up on it, I found it makes for a more successful hatch rate. It’s not something that everyone chooses to do when incubating goose eggs. Maybe it looked like I shook the egg under the water(Sorry! I was trying to hold the camera and do water and egg at same time to show y’all lol) but I really just put it under and barely turn it just to “coat” the egg with a little bit of water. So far, fingers crossed, they seem to be growing good inside. Thank you for your comment!! I appreciate it. It’s good to let others know they definitely can use a spray bottle instead of a sink. I am excited to see how they’re going to look!
@@fancyonfourteen ahh I did wonder. Hopefully you will get a great hatch. I invested in some goose egg trays as they are also good for turkey eggs. I wet my duck eggs too, and leave lid off incubator for 5_10 minutes. You don't need to say sorry to me, I was only mentioning it to try and make things easier. Look forward to the hatch. Be sure to record it. I'm in UK. I subscribed after someone mentioning you at okie expo. Will follow in anticipation of a really good hatch. Regards Val
@@fancyonfourteen that's awesome! I couldn't find any update videos but i saw your short with the white Chinese geese so i was worried they lied about the breed.
I agree that works ideally for a lot of people! I did that for a little bit after someone else suggested it to me..but since having some duck eggs in there with them, some of the duck eggs stopped developing so I was worried me opening the incubator everyday to spray the goose eggs is what affected the duck eggs(I’ve read from numerous hatchers that ducks are notorious for almost “drowning” when humidity gets too high if fluctuated when they’re growing in egg-like what! Who knew! Cause I didn’t! ) 😭 So, I switched back to just putting them under the water at my sink since it’s so close to the incubator.. goodness…I didn’t realize there was going to be much more worry with goose eggs than other eggs I have hatched LOL! On the flip side, today will mark day 29 in the incubator , so fingers crossed they’ll be hatching soon! I have seen all my geese eggs in there moving around 😍 Btw, thanks for watching and for your comment :)
I think that first of all didn’t all us “Americans” did that egg drop project in middle or high school? Given that didn’t we learn thing from grade school besides college to apply to life 😂, or is it true teachers aren’t doing their job teaching, I don’t blame teachers, or s the school board. Anyways, it’s the egg drop I’m applying to shipping eggs not the teachers 😅 don’t get me wrong lol
