Happy national fire alarm day. A test of my newly acquired Faraday 5506 horn strobe. Basically, it's a 6020 or Simplex 2901-9833 with a strobe on it. These are the successors to the 5505 horn strobe ("Knockoff 7002T").

Funny that Faraday, the knockoff brand, produced better horns than Wheelock or Federal Signal.

IMO Wheelock horns are the best ones out there. Faraday sure doesn’t disappoint too but I do think Federal Signal’s horns, especially the DC vibratone isn’t that good at all

@@officialnewyorkfirealarmtech he collects vintage smoke alarms (and some commercial FAs, specifically the newer ones, and a few vintage ones), though. Hell, he even has the same Simplex 4050 as you. You should probably comment on one of his fire alarm videos and tell him that you live in the same area as him.
