The Roche Bros. supermarket my brother used to work at had such a Gamewell system, with the same addressable Century pulls, and Gamewell-branded wall-mount Wheelock NS horn/strobes, but they also had ceiling-mount Wheelock AS horn/strobes. Some time after he quit to pursue his teaching career, they upgraded to a Silent-Knight system, but the Wheelock NS and AS horn/strobes are still there.
This closely resembles a school near me, similar architecture but had more wide open areas, and same kind of system, was an E3 and had lots of MS-95T centuries, they removed like 200 of them because there was “too many” We took some, I regret not taking more cause I have a panel I could use them on now and I broke the one I took
Nice video! Those Century pulls look weird being surface mounted and having the key reset back plate. Definitely an interesting system. Those SigCom MS-95 pulls can actually be reset just by closing them as the handle will just push it back down when closed.
E3 again… Gotta love the quirkiness of the e3. Definitely one of the most unique, strange, and interesting panels out there. Customers seem to really like to buy em too, not sure why (they’re not much better than EST and definitely not better than Simplex or Notifier which are the top brands in my opinion).
They actually suck so bad. The one at the beginning wouldn’t reset for 30 minutes because of a disable trouble that shouldn’t have existed because the thing that was disabled got re-enabled
@@FourtyFiftyEighty I guess that proves my point about Gamewell-FCI and Edwards EST not being to far off in terms of shitiness. At least that E3 wasn’t an S3 or an E3 with a touchscreen. Gamewell touchscreens are REALLY bad (like even EST’s touchscreens are better). The S3 and E3 touchscreens try to emulate modern everyday devices like a phone or pc, but the implementation was just not there and it seems like it was designed by having a set of static images with certain icons which one person could click certain icons and the panel would pull up a different static image that gave the feeling of opening a menu or something. If you look up vids of the touchscreens you’ll see why I think this. Anyway, the moral of the story is that Gamewell-FCI isn’t really a good brand and has poorly designed products compared to its competitors. Even EST has some better designed and working stuff than Gamewell tbh.
@@4008strobes I saw that too. I’m not sure if Bogi actually vapes. Either way, vaping is bad. I just breathe normal air, I don’t need to pay for flavored air
