You could do Disney Princesses! Jasmine, Ariel, Cinderella, Aurora, Belle, Tiana, just to name a few :) Edit to add: I found this really cool article that says the very first Disney Princess wasn't actually Snow White, but it was Persephone, created in 1936! They used this character to learn how to do realistic female characters, which is pretty nifty. And it seems like Snow White is at least partially modeled after Persephone. So, maybe momma can be called Persephone! Then, the little white one--who looks just like her momma--can be Snow White! :D

Joey! I’m a specialty cat foster (foster cats that have specific needs to the breed) and that is a Lynx point Siamese mix!!!! Please up this because this information will make the mama more adoptable!!! She’s so beautiful and such a great momma 😍😍😍 p.s. the small white one with grey markings is a blue point Siamese mix!!!!

The crook at the end of the tail is a Siamese trait. The legend behind it is that the cats were pets of a princess and when she bathed, she gave her rings to the cats to watch. They put them on their tails to keep them safe and made a crook in their tail to keep the rings from sliding off. At least that's the story I heard. She probably doesn't have a broken tail, just a Siamese kink.

Interesting. My cat has all the same markings but she's a few shades darker. Vet couldn't tell me anything about what she is.

I agree. I have a Lynx Point Siamese and she has the same tail. I think she could be a Lynx Point. It would also explain her smaller size, as my cat and the other Lynx Points I've seen were all small and petite.

Hi Joey! I’ve worked with cats for 17 years and When kittens are that little their balls usually haven’t “dropped.” The males have a round opening and the females have a little vertical slit, hehe. But it would be cute if they are actually all girlies!!

for anyone wondering, here is joey's animal list (comment what I'm missing, and I'll add): - wolf (male husky, bought as puppy) - storm (male husky, white, bought as puppy, lives w Daniel) - lark (female husky, bought as puppy, lives w Daniel) - lark had babies! seven of them (red, teal, lavender, pink, yellow, green, blue) - moon (male husky, kept one of lark's babies-teal) - sakura (black female pregnant rescue cat) (kept her) - sakura had kittens! zodiac litter (gemini, taurus, aquarius, aries, leo, sagitarrius) - azula (female foster cat, was pregnant but lost the litter) - Hen (foster mama from junkyard) - 6 junkyard pups (Duck, Goose, Shark, Otter, Bear, Moose) - foster mama Roo - Roo's litter (Hare, Tiger, Bison, Panda, Raccoon, Monkey) - new foster kitty and 5 babies! *the babies are usually adopted by other people (other than moon) and then renamed!

when we brought our cat to the vet at around 6-7 weeks old, she told us she "thought" it was a boy, since even at that age sometimes it's hard to tell. it's probably too early for these little ones

It's a very slight difference in like distance between the booty hole and where their genitals start (bc tho you can't tell what the genitals are but you can tell where they are) males will have a bit more distance relative to females so: Yes it is dang near impossible to tell with babies this young. Also someone should tell them that their balls (if there really are any males) just haven't dropped yet😂😂😂 I only know this stuff bc I've been helping raise neo-natal kittens since I was a wee todd.

it depends on the race (?) of the cat. the fluffier cats are harder to identify my cat was also supposed to be a boy so we named him ferdinand the 3rd ( not that there where 2 before her but "the 3rd" sounds more important xD ) then we went to castrate him , turns out he was a she , so we went with Ferdi

I hope Joey sees this, but actually, male kittens won't have visible "balls" until 10-12 weeks of age, so that is not a great way to tell. I encourage you to look up the differences in kittens that young to age. I bet there are a couple boys in this litter!

I've had my fair share of kitten raising as well and you don't have to wait weeks to tell their genders I've been able to and have been pretty much accurate on telling there genders from the day they're born

It’s 100% normal for cats to have litters of all one gender, nothing rare about it but it’s definitely fun when it happens! Most of my fosters have been all of one gender. And a suggestion for their momma is to purchase nutrical (available on Amazon) to add to her food and fatten her up. You’re doing great Joey!

Of course it's not abnormal but when it comes to probability it's obviously less likely that a litter will be all one sex rather than a mix of both. The larger the litter is the less likely it gets that the kittens will all be one sex. That's just how it works. You having seen it a lot has nothing to do with the actual statistics.

They need to be a good 5 weeks old to really tell the gender. The vet even had a hard time with one of my babies when they were young.

12 years ago (2009) I rescued a cat that was pregnant and had 5 kittens as well!! She had 4 girls and 1 boy. We keep 2 girls + the mom. They are 11 years old, born in January the 13th 2010 and they are everything to me

My mom and dad got a kitten before I was born. And uhm- I remember when they said when they got the cat the mom was dead and they found all the kittens by the road! But they brought them to the clinic, they needed homes so we adopted one THE LOVE MY LIFE! She is naughty and so precious to me. Ugh too cute!

I accidentally misgendered a cat I had before, and it took me a good 3-4 months to realize he was a boy all along 😭😭 I was like “Why is this cat getting so big?!? Her other sisters are so small compared to her.” And I look through her crotch and see TWO HUGE BALLS 😭😭 His stomach was bulging so much, we thought he was pregnant bc he was literally so skinny on the limbs but the belly was like a soccer ball 💀💀

I work at an animal shelter and sometimes crooked tails can be from inbreeding and are a birth defect. To check for it in kittens you can feel the length of their tails for kinks but sometimes they show up later in life too. Another thing is instead of checking their gender by holding them when their on their backs hold them with their back facing up, lift their tail and that will make it a lot easier to see.

She probably is. She must have belonged to someone or her mama did or she would be more wild. My kitties are 16and it took a solid 3 years to get them out of their shells properly as their mama was feral and they weren’t handled a lot. Each generation compounds the wildness.

If they're all girls, you could name them after the sailor scouts from Sailor Moon. The Mom can be Serena if you're using the English names or Usagi if you use the Japanese names. Then with the kittens, one could be Amy, one could be Ray, one being Sailor Jupiter's name, one being sailor Venus's name, and the white one being RIni or Chibiusa because she looks like her mom. Where you can easily find the names is here en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Sailor_Moon_characters. I chose the 5 names I did because these are the names of the main team of Sailor Scouts.

Mama can be Duchess from the Aristocats, the black and white ones are like Luna and Artemis from Sailor Moon, the grey one looks like Chi from Chi's Sweet Home, and my mind goes to Raja from Aladdin & (Shere) Khan from Jungle Book for the tiger twins!

I think Momma kitty is part I Siamese. If she is, the her tail is bent naturally. A bent tail is characteristic of a Siamese cat. Another characteristic is the changing of the eyes from blue to brow to a slight copper color in the night as well as the cool and warm color fur.

You are right they don't drop until later but they are still visible if you know what to look for. My litter was sexable on day three and there were no misgenders. It's tricky but doable!

For the female kittens you will see a dot on top and a line on bottom like a “ i “ when you lift the tail and kitten is on its stomach. If you are pulling the tail down to sex and the kitten is held belly up, you will see the line on top and the dot on the bottom like an exclamation point “ ! “. The male will have 1 dot on top and another dot on the bottom. You won’t see balls this young.
