Is it worth the trouble to grind? Well up to you of course , maybe you're a big fan of leos🤷🏻‍♂️ But there's other similar vehicles in the tech tree like leo 2k ,kpz (both with 20mm's) and rad90. All as fast or faster. If you play very aggressively 4s reload will be usefully, for others not that big of a different, just another fast leo. Btw did anyone had space port map?

At this point I am convinced that their map designer regarding spawns and gameplay/point locations is just the janitor throwing darts at a picture of the map (hence the A,C,B maps they needed 5 years to fix the order of the letters to fix) and the dude designing the visual part is extremly good at his job, making something feel real and cinimatic~ Because War Thunder maps are actually quite nice visually but suck ass in each and every gameplay aspect~ The only map that could be considered thought through is Fire Arc.. and that map has been reworked more often than Courtney Loves face.

That generation of heavy ERA was rated to about 400mm of KE protection. Its actually much weaker in game (120mm) specifically because of how effective the tiles are in real life. A single tile could reduce russias primary sabot round penetration by 80%.

Remember, Gaijin made it so that a majority of top tier stock vehicles are forced to use HEATFS before unlocking APFSDS. Against Armor and defences meant to defeat it. Unless you're British and Swedish. Very lucky.

people seem to forget every round has an auto ricochet angle. and sabot is only behined the apcr round as the worst round against angles. they quite simply bounce off because the warhead in chemical round or tip of the sabot in ke doesnt even make contact with the armour but the side of the round does and it goes flying off to space to meet at the gaylactic start cruiser. Heat is the most reliable round out of any (post war).
