Last week I was able to take my family from Florida to Warner Robins Georgia to see Rare of Breed and the crew live in concert for the second time. The first time was in Pinellas Park Florida last year and it was a 4 hour drive that we made, making the long trip home afterwards to go back to work the next day. Last week it was the same 4 hour drive but in a different direction ..and the same long drive home to go back to work the next day. ...And It was worth every single penny spent and every mile traveled. Getting home at 3:30 in the morning and waking up a few hours later to get ready for work was absolutely worth it to me. Having my daughter lay her head on my shoulder and tell me "We made it daddy, you got me here" was special beyond words to me. Seeing the light of her eyes and her glow as she listened to her favorite artist is a precious feeling that I can not even explain. Watching her get to interact with Rob and the crew after the show and getting her "God Twang" hat signed for a second time and her "Notebook of Lyrics" signed that she has worked so hard on brought such joy to me as her father. The pictures of her smiling with Rob capture the light of the moment so beautifully and them are the moments you will never forget as a father. If you have never been to one of his concerts then I highly suggest you make it happen, for yourself and for your family. You may have to scrape change and slide a few bills to get there. You may be tired and groggy the next day. You may have to sacrifice a few things to make it happen but you may also find yourself in the process and I guarantee you that you will make everlasting memories. The energy is incomparable to any other concerts I have been to growing up and the memories will linger with you forever. The world we live in has become such a dark place but all of that melts away at one of Rob's concerts. ALL of his crew take the time to make these events special. Playing great music, telling great stories, praying with fans, taking pictures with fans, signing autographs for fans and just plain out taking the time to appreciate their fans and show a true love for the support that comes from them. You will see all likes of people at one of his concerts and the stigmas of the world will truly melt away in front of your eyes. You will see people who have overcome hard times and people who are still walking through hard times. You will meet people with powerful testimonials who not only love his style of music but NEED his style of music. Music that helps. Music that heals. God Bless anyone reading this and if you haven't made it to a concert yet then please try to make it their one day and show your support. You will not regret it. P.S. Thank You Rob for being who you are and becoming the man you have become. Your testimony is powerful and you bring a beautiful light into my home in ways you may not even imagine.
