@arabiannight100 thank you very much. Unfortunately Pakistan is much less beautiful than 50 years ago because of overpopulation. Before the 1980s Pakistan was a great place to live in and a very civilized country. Thank you for your comments. People like you are what the Arab world needs.
It's sad that such a large proportion of Pakhtunkhwa, including Chitral, is practically inaccessible to tourists. The north-west of Pakistan has immense scenic beauty, the tourism potential, if utilized, could turn the region's fate around. Yet, I don't see that happening in the near future. I can't help but draw a parallel with J&K and the Indian northeast.
@thephilosopherkartik very few of them. i've been to. I've been to Skardu, Gilgit, Abbottabad and Islamabad. But Balochistan province I once went to as a 2 year old. it was a farm.
@thephilosopherkartik very true. I worry about the Kalash people. They probably are the last people to practice Indo-European culture and religion. They may hold the key to our ancient past.
