They even got better IMO as the 90's rolled on, even when their brand of music faded out (sadly and angrily to me still!) Saw them in small clubs during "Revolution" tour before Tim Kelly died and I was amazed..the small venues bring out the best in talented bands like Slaughter- wish there was a video from Jaxx in Virginia mid 1997..was one of the best times I've ever had at a concert
Not only did Mark have a freakin amazing voice, but I bet chicks passed smooth out looking at him! Damned shame we have to grow old bro. Best damned American Indian singer of all time.
oh my...he is still fine and love his voice....it's not so much growing old as maturing and gaining character....I still swoon when watching him perform....
I remember being at this taping at Universal Studios, LA. They played through this medley of songs three times and the producers went with the best performance for TV. Great venue and great guys!
This was after Mark began to get some cracks in the pipes..had been touring like maniacs late 90 thru 92..his voice bounces back nicely for Fear No Evil and even sounded good up until 2000 or so..then sadly it was gone. Truly one of the most unique voices, with off the charts range, we won't hear another voice like this for a while.
I can keep up with his singing high notes included. I can match. I just need more practice with my mixed voice and I'm there. However I don't wanna have the same fate as I know I'm heading down it. So ima take a month or so off or so banning myself from high notes
@@leematoadgaming4945 Wow thats crazy to even get close! 👏 I always knew he wouldn't be able to get extended longevity, the more he toured and blew it out every night but at least we were able to experience the great Mark Slaughter in his prime! Good luck to you!!!
Incredible vocals in fly to the angels. Not too often that a singer actually out sings their album vocals live but Mark definitely did with Angels. His range live actually approaches Steve Perry’s during this performance and also on another live one that is floating around on YT.
Anything you have to share about Slaughter please post it. I have always loved Slaughter from the first time I ever heard them. They are truly awesome.
I seen slaughter open for kiss on the hot in the shade tour then I seen them at a club in Kitchener Ontario Canada I got to sit and talk with the guys from the band all four were super nice guys Tim Kelly gave me a pic it's so sad about a year-and-a-half after that Tim died in a car crash
I really dug there first album stick it to ya. I never felt the same about the second album some good songs but such a different album musically although the songs were more mature they lost a bit of the anthemic sing a long chorus's that made the first album so killer.
his voice didn't start to go I'm not sure what you are hearing but this is live .when you are singing every night for days your voice will strain but his voice still rocks till this very day
