@@just_arand0mplayer727 There are cities that have rescues mounted on the same trailer and tractor as a ladder truck. Even have tiller steered rear end. They just lack a ladder but have more compartments. I believe Portland Oregon has one. Definitely odd

This Orange County is in Florida so no quakes but agreed, difficult to get this beast into some scenes.

Happens once every six months so you'll be waiting a while

@@CentralFloridaFire Guess it will leave its station without an alarm more than twice a year, right? So why are you fooling viewers with that "rare" in the title if there's no call? Random visitors do not know you normally write "responding" if you upload units on a run. Pretty disappointing though it's an interesting apparature.

Video clearly says “response” now you could’ve said cold response if it is indeed responding. I think they just out exercising the piece of equipment. No response here folks

@Amed Tajan Ya they would, as long as the air compressor can build air faster than the air loss. Leveling valves leak all the time. You can hear it in the second part of the video where he's trying to pull out of the driveway.

@Amed Tajan kilometer per liter or gallon is good for me as i live in Sweden. but i thought the time it sits with the engine idling when out on an emergency scene

I've seen ratings between 4 & 8 mpg depending if its a Navistar or Cummins engine and type of work load (city vs hwy, mountains vs flatland, light weight vs heavy weight). Average diesel will drink about a half gallon to a gallon an hour at idle or with high idle and PTO engaged upwards of 3 gallons an hour.

There are a few cities that have a rescue body setup with tiller but has no main ladder or or ground ladders. Different

Some trucks in america do. On top of rear steer axles, a lot of guys where I’m from, including myself, have twin-steer/tri-steer/steer-drive axles.

I do believe that tech rescue trailer is 41' long. The common general use semi trailer in North America is 53' long.

Usually, a tower is a ladder truck, sometimes straight frame sometimes tiller steered. Aerial ladders I think are up to 110' extended out. Towers have the huge hydraulic ladder that lifts up and rotates and extends out and usually has a deck gun. Most don't have a water tank or a lot of hose. Engine/pumper/water tender (tanker) supplies the tower with water (usually).

Fire,ems and the military are exempt from needing a cdl.Fire

Gary Koeller 1st off Orange County doesnt have basements; so you can drop the Basement savers thing. 2ndly yes this truck did at that time have an air leak, at the time of this video the truck was training another TRT firefighter and an air leak wasnt the highest of their priorities. If you have soo much time on your hands to comment about a hub cap missing you need a hobby, other than talking shit about fire departments.

YES RARE. Vehicle almost never leaves the station. On top of that this video was filmed across the county from where this vehicle is stored
