July 21, 2001 - Way before Adrienne Bailon was a talk show host on "The Real" or starred along Ja Rule in "I'm in love with a Church Girl" and before she was on "Keeping up with the Kardashians"; And before Kiely Williams sang along side her as Cheetah Girl and appeared in Stomp the Yard and before Naturi Naughton played Lil' Kim in "Notorious" and Denise in "Fame" they sat down with me as "3LW" Check out my Throwback Video.
Larry Pickett and his work have been seen on MTV, BET, Fox News Channel and NBC stations around the country. DC4 and TLC didn't give a fuck in a way where they were being authentic and that's almost always best if you are an Entertainer... Adrienne was always very well spoken, I'm not surprised she is on a talk show now. They were dressing her very sexual and grown in this interview though. Kiely: "Our music and the way we blend and...our harmonies..." I've NEVER once heard them sing three-part harmony when they sang live, even acapella. Kiely had that baby voice that blended better with Adrienne's baby soul voice, but Naturi definitely had the more mainstream R&B sound. I think Kiely's saving grace, for me, was that she was the best dancer in the group, but gosh, her youth and naivete here is probably the impetus for the end of the group.

Thank you! If they would have had an impartial manager that all would have turned out differently. The same goes with Destiny's Child. People don't realize that Matthew Knowles was not the original manager of Destiny's Child nor the founder. It was Andretta Tillman who died from Lupus. Originally Tamar Davis (prodigy of Prince) was the original lead of then Girls Tyme. Had Tamar and her sisters parents not decided to take them out of the group when they were first signed it could have been a whole different story. Or not, because in the end Matthew ended up taking over as manager.

Agreed. I feel like her mom never gave her any raising in wisdom, but buys her everything she wanted. She reminds me of her character aqua. The cafeteria scene where she was smacking chicken w/ hotsauce is kiely in real life. But I feel like she's probably putting on a act/probably respectful around her fam/friends. I think her mom should of never been over their group but somebody like Matthew knowles then 3LW would of been invincible throughout the 2000's-2010's

They had Andretta Tillman and later Matthew Knowles. They knew not to act like fools no matter how much shade they through at each other and in some videos you can see it, but they kept it moving. People make fun of Michelle and her falling etc. but girl knew it was a job and treated it as such. When someone else's dads the manager you know where you stand. Sad Farrah had to find that out. She's not that bad a singer, but the way they did that girl was just wrong. I think it hurt her deeply and that's why she brings it up so much. But it's good she's trying to move on. I really do hope that Farrah makes her own way.

jljames1988 I know they were young I get it. But Adrienne and Naturi were dang near being legal they needed someone on their level. The point I made which is clear is that if they really were all serious about going somewhere with the group why not put your best foot forward, get to know the girls and take it serious. I'm sure there were many other girls who would have loved to be in kiely's spot and took it serious. Kiely probably acts like that because she knew her mom managed the group so she probably feels like she doesn't have any consequences and can do what she wants.

Funny thing about 3LW: they were molded by other artists, image wise. Keiley was trying to be Aaliyah/Beyonce/Eve hybrid😑. Beyonce because she was the leader of the group. Eve, because she was a 'rapper.' And Aaliyah for her style. Which btw she copied her swag alot. And Its so noticeable by their old videos & performances. Adrienne was the Jlo/ Chili of the group. She was the curly hair Latina from New York, and was considered the 'sexy' member. And Naturi was 'Kelly Rowland/Mary J Bligne'. Kelly for her style, Mary for her great soulful voice.

I wasn't into 3LW. However, I remember when the group broke up and the circumtances behind it. I also recall an intervew with Sister 2 Sister. Naturi has always been consistent when she spoke about her experience in the group. I am happy for her success, she deserves it. When life gives you lemons... I never cared for Kiely. The girl oozes negative energy. What you put out you damn sure fet back!
