I got given this Hoover Fan at a carboot sale recently, and it's so interesting, we should take a closer look! And I want to trust it more before plugging it in...

I remember going to the Electricity Board Showroom in Ipswich with my dad who worked for Hoover, in the staff room they had a Hoover fan heater like yours, they also had a Hoover Cooker, a Hoover Dishwasher and a Hoover fridge.

Thanks! Was a bit different to the norm, but there was enough Hoover familiarity that it didn't feel too alien! It's back in its box now it's cooled off a bit

Watch it Sam, you'll get carried away with none vacuum related gadgets and end up down the rabbit hole.......warning to the wise as I've done it in the past and had to dig myself out of said hole!!!!! Also, very refreshing to see none vacuum related content on your channel, Sam!

Ha yep, I'm going to be careful not to 😂 I did see some bigger and later 1970s heaters on ebay but nah, I don't need them! I only have the heating on for 2 or 3 months of the year anyway

Trying to figure out how to disassemble the handle on a Dyson DC25 (blue). I've gone through all your videos and I can't find one where you've done that. My daughter put the wand backwards into the handle and it's stuck in there.

It's very hard, especially with thr wand fitted to the machine. There's 2 plastic tabs you can see on the outside of the wand. This should release all the inner clamp and the wand can be pulled up. Then the hose needs unclipping and removing, the plastic end of the wand unclips and the wand can be fully removed. Then you can get a screwdriver in to release the clip to the chassis. However there are springs and bits of plastic working the clamp that I can't remember how it goes...
