Thank you Michael and Adam. I am recovering from my third surgery for breast cancer and I have loved watching all of your videos. It has been a perfect way for me to get rest and recuperation while fantasizing about even maybe visiting a couple of jewelry stores in the future just to see some of these watches and fine jewels in person. Aside from my family, you kinda have given me something more to live for which right now, trust me is huge. So please know, your videos matter and for reasons bigger than even the Hope Diamond.

Prayers to you for overcoming your cancer journey and you will be cancer free. As difficult as it is try to stay positive, I have been hearing some real miracle recovery’s from cancer recently from stage 4 stomach cancer to stage 4 bowel cancer, one is now cancer free, the other almost there just needs a tiny liver tumour to be blasted then he will be cancer free too. Peter is a professional jeweler who, despite his experience, is not afraid to say ''I don't know'' or ''I have no idea'' when asked a question under the spotlight. I know that some will take the opportunity to taunt him, but I just have more respect for him and his humility. The same thing said by someone else probably wouldn't pass. But coming from him, for some reason or another, I prefer his candor rather than a bag of BS just to look good.

The Batgirl is actually a Frankenstein (meaning some parts are not original). There's no Rolex crown between the Swiss made at the 6 o'clock on the dial. The Jubilee bracelets are only produced on the GMT "Batman" since 2019, where the dial shows a crown between Swiss Made at the 6 o'clock.

Good catch! It makes you question some of the other watches. Also the Day-Date is polished to pieces, it lost a lot of its original shape. I guess that’s why these were all a bit discounted for the viewers, but still important to point out.

I do not get to carried away. He could not follow the instructions for a washing machine and powder and flooded the house with foam. A PhD in RM math does not equate common sense. But I do agree that he is right to be insulted for not being allowed to purchase overpriced watches. A blessing in disguise, the patron saint of Richard Mille.

That two tone Rolex Bluesy has the best blue sunburst dial in the business! This video isn’t even in the same ballpark as doing it justice. It’s unbelievable how that dial comes to life in the sun. It’s definitely a sunny t-shirt weather watch, rather than a daily driver because it does need light. But boy can it come to life!

The Aston Martin watch was cool. But I have to agree with Adam. Usually I think of the watches that have a tie in with a car brand as being “less quality”. Makes it a gimmick watch. To me. Like a lot of the Jacob&Co watches.

I’m totally with Michael on the Richard Mille watches! It’s THE most overhyped, overpriced brand in the watch world hands down! They sell maybe 2000 dollar watches for 150K plus! It’s ridiculous. Oh and don’t forget to send your RM in every 18 months for service because otherwise they won’t be water resistant anymore and when you bring in the watch under warranty because surprise surprise you went swimming with it and water got in, but the watch is supposed to be water resistant to 200 meters so swimming shouldn’t be an issue, they will ask you whether you had it serviced because it says so in the booklet, but no one fucking told you that when you bought the watch for 180K, and the watch wasn’t serviced then they’ll repair it for you and they charge you an outrageous amount of money for it. That’s a true story. You can find it online. It would’ve cost RM next to nothing to put a new mom event and gaskets in that watch and they would’ve had a customer for life. At the very least they could’ve repaired it for him at cost, but they wanted to charge him fully. Needless to say, this was the last RM he ever bought and they will get free negative publicity from him for the rest of his life and all just over some petty loose change from RMs point of view.

Yes, they got robbed a few months ago. Michael did a video with them soon afterwards, and they talked about the safety features they had added. Peter carries a gun since then. Sad commentary on the state of law and order in one of the most elite markets in the world.

Supposed to be almost impossible to break the glass at the front but this group did and stole Millions in stock, poor guy was devastated….no one would attempt now they would be shot on sight I think. RM make 3-5000 watches per year, and at the high end can take up to 1000 hours to assemble. At the top end salary for a watch maker, that's around $40,000 in labour hours. The markup is as significant as Michael was trying to point out.

Maybe 1000 hours assembly for a high Lange & Sohne ( i know some model with 700 parts take up to a year to build) or a high end Patek Philippe but i doubt the Richard Mille movement take 1000 hours to assemble!
