i’m pretty much as white as it gets, but i love watching creators who have a darker complexion find makeup that’s designed with them in mind. it’s so lovely to see the inclusion and the joy people have at finding makeup that works for them ❤
Hope is really light, and if u just put it on ur bottom lip and then smack ur lips together, it has the most natrual looking but pinky look ever if u have brown skin! It’s definitely my favourite one.
when i saw these i was curious as to if they would work for everyone, and i’m so glad most of the shades do! selena has been really good with inclusivity in the past so i’m glad she met our expectations ❤️
I watch all of these even tho I'm literally the palest shade of brown because it still helps me figure out what colors work for the actual undertones of my skin lol
They all look great on you. I'd love it if you vould do colour theory tests not just with your white friend but also with someone much darker than you. The comparison of all three would be awesome. If you can just find that friend, that'd be great 😅
Trust me the prices are not brown girl approved. They increased the prices so much when they launched in India. Us prices are not bad for the quality and ofc Selena’s name but cmon 3100 rupees ($38.75) for ONE of the rare beauty blushes in India. It makes me feel as if they think they are doing us a privilege by laughing it here. It may not be the story but the vibe is just like that. I cannot stand behind this a
Ya I notice she also has a “weird” idea of what’s supposed to work on her and what doesn’t. For example, the “happy” shade looked fine on her, but it’s probably cuz it’s more “cool” toned it was automatic “no” for her 🙄
I don't like the consistency. How it looks like it would apply, is how it applies, and looks on ur lips. Idk if I explained it well but it almost looks kinda cheap, almost blochy/chalky with greasy and cheap artificial colors that don't melt in to the lips
Rare beauty is just so boring to me, this is prob the first product I'd try but I'm not guna run out to buy a $20 lip gloss that I have 3 of every color already. Just nothing stands out either RB, I also only wear eyes lips and highlighter/blush, their eye stuff is nonexistent, highlighter blush is eh nothing stands out and lips well this stuff. I don't know why i keep hearing rare beauty is it cause they sent everyone and their mother pr packages? It's nice but everyone raves over rare beauty and I just don't see it.. am I alone?
