@TheHypnotstCollector..........Great Call-Out !!! Yeah, after hearing the "Rare No Window Post" '57, then we were shown the "All Original '57 with the 350 cu. in. exactly as it left the factory" I decided it was time to switch subjects and watch croc's eating high protein, red meat while it was still kicking. At least there is no fake claims about the croc's ability to swallow...........😉 😄
I'm pretty the engine in the 57 Chevy should be a 283 cubic inch engine unless the guy put the values covers and intake from a 283 engine on a 350c.i. block so it would appear to be period correct. The 327 engine has the same intake with different valve covers but GM didn't make the 327 until 63 or 64. The engine looks like it came with the car but they'll have to check the numbers to be 100% sure. The engine appears to be the original engine but I'm not there and I don't know..I do know that the 57 Chevy came out with a rodchestor fuel injection that was mechanically operated and they called em a fuelly engine back then with 283hp. When they had problems with em they most usually put a 4barrel intake with a 4barrel carb or an intake for 3 2barrel carburetors. It's very hard to find a 57 Chevy with the factory mechanical fuel injection system still on the engine that still works like they did in 1957
This video have no knowledge on American Pickers. Any fans know that the rarest pick was the vintage Harley oil can that frank bought for a thousand dollars but he sold it in auction for 10k.
They ripped people off and laughed as they left their home , But what comes around , goes around , Mike got divorced and lost half in the divorce , and the drunk is on his death bed .
I have been a collector for 40 years and I learnt a lot from mainly from Mick, I have watched the show for a number of years, I really learnt a lot about things that I really didn't think that were of value.I still watch them now even though they are older show's as I live in outback Australia 🦘
