If you think about it. Rarity is more likely to be related to pinkie. Her talent is fashion and finding gemstones with her horn. Gemstones are rocks. Pinkie’s family has a rock farm.
Rarity's parents don't have any skill in relation to rocks or gemstones (as far as I'm aware, they're shown like once in the show.) And it seems that they're more like country/farm ponies

I love Rarity her personality is so funny even I like she sometimes she gets insane and always care for clothes the voice actress Tabitha St. Germain did a great job for Rarity’s voice.
If you didn't notice during the actual scenes, rainbow dash finding her cutie mark was actually the reason that fluttershy and rarity may have gotten their cutie marks. They would have left if not for the sonic rain boom scaring the animals and breaking the rock open. Details, details! (I was on another video when I noticed this, just thought I'd share here too since the rarity cutie mark scene is here)
i feel rarity so much when she was comparing the colors of the towels. when i wear multiple black clothing pieces together i'm often like "ugh those are different shades of black i can't wear that" (and it bugs me so much wearing them together i just have to change it lol) and everyone looks at me like i'm some weirdo.
