Here's your song you guys. The one everyone's asked me to sing non stop since it came out. I hope you like it.
Wishing you guys the best of all things.
Please forgive the lighting and camera angle. I was going to try something different with the angle cause it seems like I always get a massive side profile on the vids...but this angle didn't do me any favors either. XD I think this one was even worse. I'll have to see about placing the mic up front and to the side like some people do so I can get my entire face in the picture......although that's about the most unnatural thing I could do since good mic technique is too natural to me after all this time. I also wonder about the off center phase problems...but.....hey...I'm open for anything...

this was mine and my grandmas song, every time we would hear it come on the radio we had to turn it the highest it would go and just dance and sing it, she passed away a few years ago and its the anniversary to her passing here in a few months, this song is amazing and has such an even more important meaning to me, she was an amazing woman

I feel all alone....your song is so inspiring it always brings me to tears....I just lost my best friend and I'm gonna be spreading her ashes this month on the 26th ..I'm only 19 ..my dad is a drug addict ...I feel so far away from home but when I hear u sing...it feels like home again my heart😢😢

You have such a God given talent....i have been struggling emotionally from losing my child in a custody battle. I have basically mom & dad 4 six yrs. My x is a physician and so it was his money that allowed him 2 win....he and i have two children but only faught 4 one. He hasnt spoken to our other child since 2009. However, my children & i are really close & are slowly crumbing from being apart from one another. She is now 10 hrs away....its my hope she will realize i wont ever let her go.

Hey there i havnt had any R&R my husband broke my heart last new year's eve. I needed someone to stamd by me the i had since the i met him and "his" family. Still even after he told me in the middle of restaurants that he'd never been in love with me my heart Belongs to him. So i would call but i already know it doesnt matter . Love isnt love when the other peroson cant/womt/doesnt want to love you back. So instead of calling him tonight and telling him that I love him I will go to bed and "try sleeping with a broken heart". No matter how many times i prayed that "this years love had better last" and remindedd myself that "nothing compares to u him" it only extedned the inevitable questiion of "why does it hurt so bad" .... my teacher just told me GOODBYE". R&R is done, but will never be over.

Jerusha - Deep betrayal. He married you before he revealed what a piece of sh*t he actually is. Something that really helps is to RECOGNIZE that HE was a phoney and the guy you were in love with doesn't exist. That means that now that you got him out of the way - you can wake up every day preparing yourself to be ready for the Good Guy that will be the genuine Love of Your Life. Staying sad is like rewarding the jerk's memory by agreeing with him that he was right about you and you didn't deserve real love. If you hang onto that loser as some kind of prize all you are doing is telling the universe that you don't really deserve to be loved., Start working on developing your talents and building real character and self-esteem. (Check out the book by Nathaniel Branden "The Psychology of Self-Esteem" A lot of us women with the absentee Daddies or the abusive or neglectful Daddies have a broken "picker" and without some serious work on your Man template - or your screwy idea of what a man's "love" for you feels like - you will "fall" for broken men like a fly goes to sh*t - and worse,.., if you have children with him, you will ruin their chances 4 happiness before it even begins. Remember Aretha Franklin... Respect yourself cause if you don't ain't nobody gonna give a good cahoot!!! Take responsibility for your own happiness. A good man can support you, support your happiness while you support his (as long as everyone is acting with integrity towards others) and don't bring children into the world until you are married to a man who knows that being a good husband to you is the first rule of being good parents to your children.

I can't even begin to put into words how moved I was. Your voice is incredible and it actually drew tears to my eyes. Not because of how amazing your voice is but because of how much heart you put into the lyrics. Honestly I wish I could sing but I'm so overly self conscious that I can't bring myself to get lessons. Every time I listen to your music it makes me want to learn even more. Especially your cover of compass by Rascal Flatts that was just astounding. I can't stop listening to that song I love it so much. I look forward to seeing what other songs you post and to see how many others you inspire.

Drew, I am so glad you are doing better after your accident! I kinda know how you feel to have brain surgery...I was diagnosed last February with Arnold Chiari Malformation which meant my brain was falling into my spine and had to have brain surgery in April..My doctor said it was the most severe case he has ever done...If we would have waited any longer I would have had a stroked or even died...So thankful you are still able to do what you love which is bless us with your beautiful voice!!!

Life is so short and we should spend every single moment of it appreciating and loving those that matter to us. Listening to this reminded me of my friend that I lost to cancer recently. Drew, Thank you so very much for your words of encouragement! Through your musical talent, you have brought hope to me after my fathers death. You either have people aspire to carry on through song or inspire those to go on even in a time of despare and heartache. Music is definitely the way to make the heart rejoice. drew this is one of my true favorites that you do.i say the flatts need to add you as the lead singer, when i was in chorus in high school my teacher always said."if there is no sentimental value or passion behinde what you are singing then it will not satisfy you or your listeners. Every month I come back and listen to this cover about 4-5 times just because I really love it that much and have done so ever since you first put the cover on youtube. Your such an inspiration to me drew because you clearly enjoy what your doing and you show passion when you sing, Singing is all about having fun and using your emotions :)!
