@@corpyhogan4433 I don’t care how he talks that’s not my business do I like it,no but who cares lol he don’t even know I exist & if take his career over yours or mine any day lol
McCants is a prime example of someone who is not as good as he thought he was. Good in college, but got to the league and ran into real talent and he fizzled out quickly
Naa no way lol. Talent was never an issue with mccants ....most players and insiders acknowledge that his skill on the court wasnt his problem and had little to do with why he fizzled out. He had (and still has) a major attitude problem. The funny thing is his unorthodox personality actually makes him kind of entertaining now in the podcast world.
So it’s cool for schools push through uneducated athletes under the guise of proving them an education. Y’all sound dumb AF. Probably a bunch of high school grads and dropouts.
Naw bro! My wife attended UNC during the paper classes scandle and the only thing the students knew about the classes was that they were really easy and hard to get into because they were easy. Most universities have easy classes that help boost your GPA. Not saying the paper classes were acceptable but if you have gone to college you know you had a few classes that were criminally easy.
@@Clutch585 exactly. His dumba$$ wouldn't have been eligible to play. Was skipping tutor lessons and they did what they had to keep him eligible so he could play and become a National Champion & NBA lottery pick. Then dude goes and starts messing with a Kardashian and focused on all the wrong stuff. He thought he made it already because he was used to always being the man. But the NBA, EVERYONE was THE MAN. He wanted to live the fast life and not the Mamba mentality life. He's blamed everyone else and never taken responsibility for anything he did or didn't do.
His actions cost UNC a ton of recruits. Actually this is the reason Duke and Kentucky started getting all the top kids. UNC wouldn't even get kids to visit the campus! This dude is from Asheville, close to where I live, and honestly it's a shame that he acted like this towards a school that did nothing but make him a National Champ and into the NBA.
Facts but that also showed us how good of a coach Roy Williams recruiting, three and four star players and still competing at a high-level to later on win another national championship in 2017
I agree with everything Ray Felton said…. This dude had the audacity to say his teammates was hating on him because he only had 15 points at halftime and had to share the balll with May in the national title game that they actually won…. If this isn’t the most selfish player you have ever seen OMG…. He’s an individual minded person and it’s no surprise, He’s in the situation that he’s in now. SMDH..
And he on the Right Podcast cause that sound like some shit Gil would say I had 15 at the half and than Coach realized it was Big Man Birthday and decided he want gone touch the ball Nomore. That is a Selfish Azz player and Gil was that type of player too Selfish Azz Player
McCants was off that game too. He shot 6/15 for 14pts and didn't score in the 2nd half. Meanwhile, Sean May finished the game with 26pts & 10reb and shot 10/11 from the floor (6 of 6 in the 2nd half for 18pts). McCants is just selfish. He was off, they got the big man involved, and he didn't miss. They won the game and the title. Instead of being happy, he's still whining and making up conspiracy theories that Roy wanted May to win the MOP because it was his birthday?! lol. McCants is delusional.
what are you talking about? I get it that you don’t like him. Why make up lies? You don’t watch basketball based on your comments alone. Rashad was good in the NBA. He got injured and had a negative attitude and dean know how to be reserved when he was speaking to people. Richard got a lot of the people such as the executive team doctors, mad at him. So another words, he blackballed himself. But don’t say the man game didn’t translate to the NBA. Just say you never watched him play.
@@IsmokeHiphopLiveI mean he didn’t really he was a sg that played more like a floor spacing pf that really wasn’t the hottest commodity at that point he had average defense but nothing that special about him on that side of the court he was a solid role player at best and that’s being generous let’s not act like he had huge upside to his game at the nba level
It’s crazy I was a fan of his in his playing days but it’s sad the ego it takes to make in professional sports a lot of em don’t know how to turn it off and with him it’s why I’m less of a fan today same with Gil
Now it makes sense why he didn't get run in the league. After all the good coach Williams has done for NBA players and Executives in the league, stands to reason they would close off doors to Rashard MCcants. That was classless at the highest level.
I ain't know who tf McCants was until gils arena. I always knew who Raymond Felton was. McCants wasn't a good nba player. He was a flash in the pan and forgettable. Felton had a way better career
McCants wasnt cooking he was 6-15 and 2-5 He had 14 points at the half, but couldn't make the same shots in the second half. McCants is the type of person that doesnt do the hard work but wants all the recognition.
2k12 was so HEAT with that knicks team . I had Ray running PG with Steve Novak spotting up n Melo doing his shit . JR Smith going krazy and Tyson Chandler dominating down low
matt doherty's damage lasted longer then he did as coach....I doubt roy would have recruited mccants dude is a compete headcase all the talent in the world don't make up for that
I remember UNC getting beat time after time until Sean May was healthy then UNC won a national title Mccabts wasn't good enough to get it done by himself, that team owes everything to May
@@royaldavis640 yes, future nba players. You have to know how to develop your thoughts and transition it onto paper. The NBA itself is not always the entire course of these people/players lives.
@@ronsrelaxedvibes5527 Sorry to say I was an intern at UT and they have major help with papers, homework and quizzes. It’s pretty much known that u give the players a lot of grading “room”
It seems like Rashad says things that he thinks will make him sound and look so much different than everyone else. Just so he can say I am different. He says he has "High Character". Wouldn't a high character individual be able to say " you know what? Sometimes I did and said things that were my fault." He always says he's a "Real One" ok im not saying he's not. But damn everything negative thats happened to him can't be everone else's fault. Im sure some of it was, but some of it was his too. Just stand 10 toes down and own it.
I don’t think Rashad McCants is making that up, they are mad at him for saying that because it was supposed to be “hush” information. Things that no one is supposed to ever find out. This happens all the time with athletes, Other students do their work assignments. They only feel like he’s a dick head because he decided to put it out there and this truth that’s been swept under the rug makes Carolina look bad
Ok ok ok, bruh you balled yo ahh off in college but let’s face it you was ass in the Pros. Now I give you your flowers cuz u made it there but collegiate athletics was your highlight in the sport of basketball. Idk if I’m right or wrong but it always feels like Rashad blames his mishaps and misfortunes on everybody but himself. He never man’s up to accept the responsibility of his actions
Raymond Felton:won a national championship with UNC, lasted 10 years and paid his dues……Rashad McCants:also won a national championship but his NBA career was short lived because of ego and the main thing I can’t stand about him is he constantly wears a crown when he does a podcast and constantly dogs Nikola Jokic……smh……
since when does championship = happiness . lmao mccants a clown bruh. he be on point some times but thats clown activity right there , and in the very next clip he say he never held acomplishments to a high standerd evrer!!!! 4:19
@@russelljohnson437 no i mean he had been blessed with the talent to do big things in his life but didnt humble himself , blamed others n became lazy listen when he talked bout pat bev who went over seas and who got into the league
