Him leaving the scene is what bothered me the most about what I saw. Yeah we all make mistakes blah, blah ,blah only God can judge.....miss me with that B.S. He left and didn't know if someone was seriously hurt or paralyzed, or dead or dying. In that moment he had a choice to show character and own his mistake, instaed he ran......I hope he learns from this, its disgusting how many people are caping for a guy they don't even know in these comments. And I speak from experience, my wife and I were in 2 accidents where the other party ran from the scene. Its not as simple as "nobody got killed"

I hear what your saying and its not BS about only Father God can judge. you can judge whomever, but just know when it's your turn to get judged... be sure YOU can stand under YOUR same judgment. this is why you would only want Father God to judge you, bcuz he will not do it under flimsy human emotions. his judgments are ALWAYS righteous and just. humans NEVER want to give mercy to another humans mistakes, but as soon as it's your turn.... you want ALL of the grace and mercy from others....

You don't really know. Yall just assuming. I wish yall would stop acting like he killed someone or seriously hurt them. Yes leaving the scene was bad. But, he is only 23. It's one thing to do something bone-headed that hurts you or your career. It's quite another to casually walk away from an accident that YOU caused which ended up putting people in hospital and injured a 4 year old child. Causing it to happen was bad enough - and I'm amazed everyone survived - but walking away without knowing if you ended someone's life? Disgusting. I'm a Chiefs fan, but I never want to see this mf play in the league again.

Not once did anyone mention that he could’ve killed someone else. Forget your own life - that’s your choice, and if you kill yourself, it’s sad, but it’s just the consequences of your own actions. But there are other people on the road you could’ve killed who had nothing to do with your choices, as was the case with the Henry Ruggs incident.

I couldn’t tell that they were going incredibly faster on the freeway bc they crashed almost immediately in the video. He was at a family party earlier. He needs better friends or needs to be a better leader and show he can make decisions with integrity.

This guy made a decision on his own. He got behi d the wheel, he drove, he raced, he caused the accident and he left the scene instead of calli g 4 help and ownng up 4 his ignorance and no regard for human life except his. I llost my niece who was 16 years old, was at a softball practice and before the game got in the car with some of her team mates and the young lady who was driving was playing with the radio and not paying attention while driving went through a stop sign and the car got hit broad side and that was where my niece was sitting and she passed away and no one else got hurt. No drugs or alcohol involved but because of a persons ignorance of the responsibility of driving my niece never got 2 go to prom, graduate, go 2 college, have a xareer, get married, have children ,etc. Her life ended at age 16 from 2 major bad decisions 1st getting in the car with a teenage driver which she was not allowed, then because of the teenage driver playing with the radio with other people in the car and the car who unfortunately hit them had a mother and a 2 year old child in that car. No one ran from this accident but a life was lost which effected alot of people from 1 person wrong decision. Driving is a privilege not a right. If u want to drag race go beba racecar driver. But sorry Mr Rice just has shown his true character which is not good and his life is all that matters 2 him. Sorry he deserves to be hit hard with punishment. He should not be hated but he needs to answer 4 what he did and learn to not be given a pass 4 this.
