Add to the fact that 4 of those game 7 wins came from the Celtics, it goes to show actually how great those Celtics players were for being able to make up for Doc's shortcomings as a coach. A horrible coach at that.

Doc was a disaster in Philly. Simmons made it clear that he can't hit FTs. Doc kept simmons in 2 games in a row while the sixers were up 20 against Atlanta. Hawks kept fouling him. Simmons was never the same. Mental midget or not, Doc was the only one that couldn't read that situation.

Kevo@ Just stop. Dude was on his last leg, about to retire from the NBA. What were his stats when he was on the blazers and pistons? Dude is one of the greatest power forwards of all time. He doesn’t get the recognition because he played in the same era with Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett. Him battling against those two were great games

@@kevo973 Again, he was on the leg of his career. He retired 3 years laters. Last time I checked, he won a championship before KG, Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, and doc rivers. You need to look at some old RU-vid clips of the 1996-2004 Trail Blazers and the 2004 - 2009 pistons.

Doc rivers has been the most overrated coach for a very long time period there was no way they should have lost game 6 to the Celtics at home to close out the series’s too!!! And I can go on and on don’t let me speak on the clippers vs rockets series he let Josh smith eliminate them and a lot more than that SO OVERRATED I DON’T SEE THE HYPE WITH HIM WTF! Who wouldn’t have won a chip in 08 with Paul KG and Ray and and stack role player squad when they still had alot left in the tank and he only won 1 they should’ve definitely won at least 2 championships!! Biggest choke in with lob city couldn’t even get out the western conference at the least damn!!!!!! Doc Rivers a bum I’ll take Rick Carlisle over him by far!
