President Joe Biden mispronounced the name of the new UK prime minister, Rishi Sunak, as he congratulated him during a Diwali celebration at the White House on Monday.

You interestingly also highlight this idea that tory-ism is synonymous with racism when that is really such a small loud minority of far-right extremists that conservatives (hopefully) distance themselves from. It does seem like news outlets make very little mention of the fact that he is a millionaire, that his status gives him tax breaks that really shouldn't apply to people with his wealth. It's almost as though (gasp shock horror) british news outlets DONT want the poor in the UK to speak up
