i've watched a few guides on beating Rasial, and none have really helped me, and so i gave up on him for a while. After getting some better perks and watching a guide that doesn't expect you to have BiS gear and kill in 1 min, this was actually quite refreshing and i managed to get my first kill in about 2 mins. Thank you. you get a sub friend =]
I've largely been a full revo guy until the past 2 weeks when I returned for necro. It's definitely made it easier to pick up manually firing abilities. I'm not yet full manual and don't think I'll ever fire off basics outside of where you have to kite like this fight, but I fire pretty much everything else now while prayer flicking with some soul split flicking if I'm feeling like being really locked in. Can't say I would've done that if not for Necro.
8:50 Can combine undead slayer with Invigorating 4 pretty easily too 18:10 Hes using Barge with necromancy wonder if we will get that as an ability too
I started doing this right before the bash/spectral Scythe at 1:20. Even Freedom right before works to prevent stun and turning off your prayer! Thanks for pointing this out!
I really like necromancy. As a newer rs3 player I do have problems with rasial though. I had no intention of learning full manual and I was happy to see that necromancy is more like a soft-manual. I was using the t90 tank gear and I got him to around 140k hp but I was out of supplies. I don't think i'll try him again until I get more supplies sadly ): I have toadflax but like no crushed nests. I was thinking of just getting my imcando hatchet because that surely will give me quite of bit of birds nest, or just learning arch glacor because I still dont really have much pvm skill.
Arch Glacor is amazing for dipping into advanced PvM, especially once you get used to hard mode and streaking to higher and higher enrages. You will also be swimming in more crushed nests than you want, lol. If you're Ironing, or just gathering your own supplies in general you can't go wrong with Slayer tasks either. Over time all the useful supplies really add up.
@@jasper_72 I will probably do some slayer as im only level 93 right now. It was on the backburner until i had gwd1 armor - didnt want to keep gathering energy for degradable armor tbh, at least until 99.
@@LuxanderBel It truly is worth it to gather energy - once your div is high (especially the 90 colony), you can afk enriched on community worlds and get tons. 100 or so charges will last a good while. The maples from kingdom will give you all the simple comps you need
@@jordanwenzlaff3321 My gear is like 9 drain per second so i go through it like butter. I blew through like 250k charge yesterday alone and that was only like 1.5m slayer xp. iron life rough out here man
Question.... Should Jagex accommodate players that cant use full manual due to a physical handicap? More than likely it would require revolution to be made equal to full manual. Or To hell with handicapped players.
The best kill times players have right now are in full t95. Similar strategy it seems like, but the weapon upgrade is nice over t90, and besides the power bonus of the armor there's also a ridiculous boost to your Conjures' damage and duration. I'm personally hoping to get more t95 drops and skip creating t80-90 power armor 🙂
The ramping up damage of Death Skulls from vuln bomb and other sources no longer works. That was fixed some time ago and that part in the vid is outdated. Technically yes Invoke Death only needs to be cast before Rasial reaches 30k HP, but because it takes up time in your attack cycle a lot of players prefer to use it right before the fight starts. But if you're not going for tick perfect kills anyway, it doesn't matter much when you cast it.
@stonezrz Not sure if its profitable but it's worth it for kill times. For an 800k HP boss it roughly translates to 80k damage taken care of with little extra effort. Just might need 2 bombs if you want him vulned all the way through and don't have very fast kill times.
Accuracy should show next to their HP as a percent. The buffs/debuffs should be under their HP bar also. If not, maybe check the Edit Layout menu & advanced settings (I forget exactly what this is called). If you can find it, there should be a section for target buffs/debuffs and you can see if it's in the right place, or hidden for some reason. Last thing I'd think of is if this started happening Monday, maybe it has to do with the graphical updates released. Don't know how much this will help but good luck!
Thank you! I will check my layout when I am able. I just came back when necromancy dropped and the accuracy along with the debuffs were never there for me.
As a parent it is difficult to find time to get infront of my pc more rhan once or twice a week... late at night... on the weekend. I wish there was a better way to make full manual possible on mobile. Or to add another action bar hidden behind another tab regardless of how much it would clutter the scree
I have done one Rasial kill on mobile (not full manual, took a lot of time and food, don't recommend). I have done some high level pvm on mobile but nothing like Zuk or Zamorak. I don't know how comfortable it would be but maybe for tablets at least, I could see more action bar bubbles. It would be great but unfortunately this game is designed for us to use a thousand keybinds in a single full manual fight.
the problem for me is ive already had my keybinds set up now for like almost 10 years now and its such a pain to change everything around to make full manual easier. I cant fathom taking my freedom and anticipate off D and F or by brews and food off Q and W..and i only use the left half of the keyboard for keybinds..i get all mixed up when i have to go further to the right. Somehow ive made it work with rasial tho and only took me 2 deaths to get consistent kills. Im one of those players that clicks their abilities with the mouse lol. I have more trouble in the first part of the fight. The last phase is so easy
I'm not a fan of how many keybinds is the expected normal now in this game. Using the right half of the keyboard is completely off limits for me as well practically. This is where I started to use Shift + key and Ctrl + key thanks to Necromancy. Don't know if that'll be more or less annoying for you, but it helped me!
Well I got 10 kc and i'm done with this boss after using up 10 life restore scrolls. P4 is straight up cancer when you're not used to full manual. Thanks for the guide but yeah screw this boss
just set volly, finger of death and soul sap, touch of death to keybinds thats all you really need. Move in a triangle formation to avoid the necrotic bombs in p4..just dont panic run..if i can do it you can. Soul split and reaver summon are key to survival in this fight. Also reflect is amazing for this fight as well
Been meaning to put together a Necro guide for it, coming soon. I do have a Magic guide for getting an Igneous Stone that still holds up if you're interested: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-P_AV-KuhM5Q.htmlsi=6e3EkIOMBCgCIRQ8
sometimes your key presses dont even seem to register and you have to spam the key..its really annoying when you use spells like prism and smoke cloud because they are considered auto attack
Agreed to an extent. I have a few harder boss kills on mobile, and one Rasial kill actually lol. It took a while and wasted tons of food, don't recommend. It would be nice, but this is first and foremost a PC game unfortunately designed to have 15 different keybind presets :/
Sadly he still just does way too much damage, he's a bit over-tuned in how much he hits. Also the in-ability to dodge hits in the final phase is kinda annoying to deal with. all other bosses are fun; Rasial, less so. - Good content though.
Agreed on the inability to dodge. HM Zuk looks similar with guaranteed damage taken in the last phase (haven't tried it yet, lol), but at least it's more straightforward. I have a feeling Rasial will be a more difficult boss even for the players who are steamrolling him right now in under 40 sec, after a few rounds of tweaks to Death Skulls damage ramping in particular. I don't believe they released a high level, 800k health boss with the expectation that players would manage nearly 1.6 million DPM against him lol (when the old FSoA was dealing around 500k DPM and that was cause for nerf).
@@jasper_72zuk hard mode you can avoid damage in last phase entirely, just keybind abilities and never ever stop moving. Last phase is easiest by far once ur used to it, just make sure to take an energy potion... if you run out of running energy, quick death lol
Rasial is definitely a beginner boss. Use power armor and pray necromancy and then just rotate reflect, debilitate and devotion. You’ll take almost no damage except when your prayer gets dropped. Just pop it back up. Use anticipation around 1:25-1:30 before he dives on you and stuns you. You don’t need all the tryhard stuff or the damage reduction auras. Only soulsplit in p4. Soulsplit in p1-3 is just unnecessary when you can just reduce all damage to negligible. Game is really easy. Boss is way easier than people make it out to be.
Mind giving a revo bar for this so that I can just rotate those 3 skills? Because even with t90 gear, overloads, etc im dead as soon as those 3 go on cool down/ protect necro gets taken down.
So basically this boss cant be killed using full Revolution? It totally leaves out anyone that for whatever reason (including physical disabilities) from doing it even half as well as full manual players. WTG Jagex Getting T90 armor includes killing bosses I cant kill. My physical disabilities are all mine and those with physical disabilities should sit in a chair in their room until they die. The Arch Glacor has mechanics that can be toggled to suit ones ability and even I can kill it with two mechanics but no more. My punishment for this is never having access to the full drop table no matter how many kills I get with two mechanics on. All these benefits for over 20 years of playing.
Sorry to hear 😯 that is really upsetting. Tbh I looked through target cycle settings and everything, to see if there was just one possible hotkey for "attack target" or "keep attacking target". That way you could run around and only worry about one key (or extra mouse button) to keep using your revo bar as normal and be able to do bosses like this and hard mode Zuk. Maybe not the best solution but it was a thought.
@@jasper_72 Zuk....... I can't even get close to killing Zuk. Repeatedly being killed must somehow please Jagex. I also find it interesting that somehow Jagex found a way to accommodate people who can't boss to be able to kill Zammy for a quest. Maybe they should return to the days when PKing was EVERYWHERE in the game except banks. Great business plan Jagex. Let's EXCLUDE certain groups.
it pretty much can be done full revo if you can just manual cast finger of death and volly. Just click rasial again after moving out of the necrotic bombs in p4.
Sorry you expected otherwise. The title says this guide is for full revo warriors, i.e. for players that typically only use full revo. It's just not possible with this boss so this guide is meant to help anyone interested in trying out a bit of manual ability use. If that's not your speed, totally get it.
