Scottish-Egyptian sisters covering a turkish folk song, with english lyrics about a russian guy, which was originally sung by a german group consisting of jamaican singers .
RU-vid gods gave me this today. Before it gave me "folk shred" and a guy playing cowboys from hell on hurdy gurdy (solo too)🤘 when the internet was conceived clearly this is the shuf it was for.
Those three seconds of cello at 00:51 are absolute pleasure. This wasn't on my recommendations, I deliberately searched "Rasputin on cello". This duet is by far better than anything I could've imagined I'd come across. I hope The Ayoub Sisters get more exposure and recognition because to me THIS is what music should be.
Unfortunately, far too few exam questions happen to be solved with "Ra-Ra-Rasputin, Russia's Greatest Love Machine". Maybe the world would be a better place if it wasn't so.
@@Galdring I guess, some bits are sound the same as in the Witcher soundtrack, and one of the girls with curly hair actually look somewhat like Yennefer. :) But also there could be a tag for witcher fans to have it in recommended.
@@brujaderio Definitely not where eye makeup was invented. Eye liner was used to protect the skin from the sun, dry sands and wind. Eye makeup (not just liner) was already in use before that. And, in the case of the raccoon eyes, also not perfected. They are wearing it this way for the drama of the song, not every day looks.
The secret of the strength in this song is the blood flows with adrenalin in the way that the original team sang it, and here is the second best team I heard as the two musicians way while hit the strings they made me in fire ! Excellent
WOW. This is a BREATHAKING cover. Most covers of this song don't take advantage of the rich, *beautiful* sounds you can pull out of the lower registers. I have never heard a cello line *assert itself* quite the way it did here in the beginning. I never expected this song to feel deep and rich and *intimidating.* You two have *powerful* sibling chemistry, you do amazingly beautiful and creative things with the sounds you have, and you've just earned a new subscriber.
Once upon a time, in Velen long ago, there was a Geralt of Rivia, from a wolven witcher school. He traveled far, and reached Crow's Perch, he is lookin' there for an ashen haired girl.
....the thing is they make this "look" so effortless....how many years of practice must this have taken. Please continue to use your talents So that people can enjoy you your efforts. Big hugs and thank you.
One of the playlists told me one day The violin takes from the age of its owner (meaning that the violinist is strongly influenced and merged with the tunes that he plays, as it is the candle that melts to produce the sweetest notes to us).
I wanted to add that the e expressions, mood, cinematography, colour and lighting produced an eerie, surreal experience for the me as the viewer. And of course the music… ❤️🌹💐🌷🌺🌼🌸
This is gold. This is proof that talent is found in every corner of the world that you just have to find it instead of going on what is playing on the radio.
Found the video today on RU-vid, simply loved it. I might've watched 10 times, just today. On top of amazing music, you guys have put on an excellent performance with your expressions. Keep rocking. God bless! ❤
I LOVE THE CELLO and I feel really sad that I lost an age without learning it or any other instrument You girls are amazing keep rocking #aloootoflovefromMorocco
It’s a credit to the RU-vid algorithm that it realized all Rudy Ayoub fans would click on this out of name-based curiosity. Good thing it’s actually an awesome video then.
