I love how every inconvenience is a “feature” and he’s kind enough to give me a worth coconut shell as a gift and makes it sound like he’s doing you the favor. I do not think he is really a bad fellow however he has very bad ways of living and controlling his loved ones, He needs to fix that outdoor shower and add some walls for privacy no woman finds that way of life and showering to be free lance or pleasant it is wrong and needs to be fixed he is a lazy man who smokes too much weed and needs to start doing his own construction, All of his neighbors homes looking so finished and clean then you have his run down place that someone who could afford to own and build it should and could have been the best owners of that house and land. I hope he wakes up and uses his own man power wisdom and greatness combine all of the powers of mother nature and use his own brain and muscle to build it properly.
Living in a run down building is definitely not healthy and he will feel the effect of it later in life. I get that his guest love the vibe and I could see why. Travelers just want something completely different from what they are used to. As for the shower a 100 agree with you his neighbors especially the men must have a jolly good time taking a peek at the women taking a shower. When rain falls that house is no fun am sure.

It was an abandoned house that he took over and didn't even bother to make any renovations. Dirty, smelly, roach infested house.

My guess is since his name is 'Rodd' with two d's, he chose to write Rass to balance it out: Rass Rodd is like balance in life; Ras Rodd is too much weight on the name (4 letters v. 3 letters). That's my best explanation. We have freedom to break language rules, like we have freedom as musicians to bend the usual predictable scales, chord progressions, and melodies.
