The Springboks is a shining example of what we as South Africans can accomplish if we strive towards a common goal. This is Mandela's rainbow nation. If each and every South African is able to embrace different backgrounds and cultures like these guys do South Africa will be the greatest country in the world.
He is such an exciting player. I remain uncertain whether he can fill Willie's shoes. But such a talent deserves the chance to show us that he is capable of delivering on the big stage.
He is not the same kind of generational break out talent like SFM. But he is still damn exciting and deservant of a shot to prove himself. Willie will probably not play the next world cup and Willemse cannot be our only fullback.
South Afrca doesn't have B teams, we have a Springbok team for the weekend. Any of these players can make a break and score a try. Very dangerous rassie team. Rassie wasn't joking when he said the Portugal Springboks team could go hit for hit against the Ireland Springboks team. The problem is who do you choose after this team wins Australia 50-0.
The springboks have an incredible squad depth in every position. What a treasure to have for South Africans, and what a good problem to have for Rassie.😂

10 changes initially worried me, but we have so much talent and developing this depth is essential to building a team that can win week in and week out. Seeing how confident Rassie is in the squad you can really see he is building on systems where players can slot in and out like for like very excited for the game this weekend def have the depth to put the Aussies under the same pressure and a back line that could run them ragged with the forwards giving dominant ball. Makes sense - You don't win a battle and loose the war - NZ is in the future. Modern Rugby is a marathon. Not a sprint. It will be good for SA to give players a rest. More players Experience. The game will be more competitive, and I guess that is a good thing.
Esterhuisen is a massive lift for the Boks, him and Moodie were clicking, be good to have him and Pollard with a fast 9. So many 9s it's unbelievable. Wilco Louw still considered surplus amazes me..But he has gone with youngsters to blood them in. Fassi has great potential if they work on his defense, he is one dangerous player going forward. Am proved he can play at 12/13 vs Portugal. Classy classy player. I am a big fan so a clever move. It shows versatility in the middle. Morne van den Berg (scrumhalf) and Ruan Nortje (lock) will be key we are a fit lock short. And not all the established locks are not all going to make the rwc. Rotation will allow them to be strong contenders in this comp, the Argies seem like the biggest challenge right now. NZ are 6 months to a year adapting to the Razor and they will adapt and be a force again. I would have gone with Pollard because its going to bucket down on the week end and the going will be heavy under foot.. I suspect a tacticle grind it out. Kick and kick some more play for territory wont be pretty on Sat. Might have to win ugle in the rain...
I agree with you that Fassi's defence remains a question mark and that it will be great to see the cannon (Moodie) return. Rassie mentioned that he wants three players in every position so our outside center options are probably Jessie, Am, and the cannon.
I love this team. The hunger within the players for game time and competition between individuals for the chance of cementing position certainly makes for probable brilliance. The talent being fielded is massive. Power in the engine room and fast runners with the best steps in world rugby. Some players being fielded we as Bok supporters can’t wait to see play and now there are plenty in one team. Their support of each other will bring a bigger win and will prove their worth. Personally I’m very excited. Boks by 35. ☮️💜
Boks are becoming the worlds most exiting rugby team, most people say they cant wait for a Bok game to see what Dr Rassie and boks will bring to the table. WR is having a headache to keep up changing rules to tone Boks down.

Over confidence can be a big factor. As New Zealand will be ready . So rather the boks take a humble aproach. In terms of language south Africa has many languages not represented . What a slap in the face of PSTD making Moerat captain over him. PSTD is our best player and puts his body on the line for the boks. Moerat has done nothing and will never do anything for the boks.
I think if Rassie wants him to captain that’s good enough for me. He sees it as a leadership group and not just who the individual is. Don’t worry about who the actual captain is seems to be what rassie is saying
