Live and let live and to each his own. I have loved motorcycles since I was 12 years old. I am 72 now. I can't help but be partial to factory original bikes. I like some custom jobs, I have seen, and a few of these rat rods and home builds. Some are genius, and look great, but original is where it's at for me, for the most part.

Although some may cost as much as a home, they don't have to. And if drawing attention is what you're after? A rat rod can often draw more looks than a $300,000 supercar. I've been designing and building airplanes for years. My current build has a rat rod flavor building it out of Composites to keep it light enough to put on the bells and whistles. Although a bush plane it has a older airplane appearance with a old hot ratrod flavor. From the butterfly hilborn air intake sitting on top of two AMR 500 Roots style superchargers feeding a stroke type 1 2300 exiting out the side pipes. And a 70s lowrider paint job that looks like it was painted in the 70s. Copper trimmings and Saddle leather throughout. 🤠🐂🏞️🛩️
So the big trike that has the semi front end on it at L'cars in Cameron Wisconsin.... I work there but I didn't have the luck of doing that build...lol
My craziest rat was a hardtail 8 hp Briggs and Stratton vertical shaft lawnmower engine, producing approximately 17 hp at the rear wheel, capable of 80mph, handeld well😎
A lot of bikes in this video are not rat bikes , they are just heavily modded . Rat bikes (or cars called rat rods) are bikes that look very distressed and worn out , also mostly thrown together survivor parts like gauges, valves and other things of different brands and even different machines and made to the personal taste of the owner to look brutalistic and almost post apocalyptic

Sorry the first bike ruined it for me. Some guy who pays people to build bikes get real. Can either of the tetuls bikld a bike start to finish with no help. Including paint. NO!!!!! There are others out there way more talented!!!!!!
Here we go again, a buncha unrideable (or almost unrideable) motorsickles that would be better suited as boat anchors. I'll stick with my Doodlebug motor scooter which I've owned since I was 10 years old (68 years). I sold my last motorcycle, a crotchrocket, 5 years ago because I got just too damn old.

Как на нем ездить, если он животом трется о дорогу? Это же антифункционально. А говорят, только самое необходимое. Необходимое для чего: чтобы никуда не уехать? "Сидя на этом [байке], замечательно глядеть на звездное небо и рассуждать о русском хлебосольстве. Замечательно никуда не ехать." :)
