The movement in this game is awesome, I played a lot of the pc demo as a kid, and only found the full game way later. It's actually a badass little game, with huuuge levels that reminded me of another Disney game a played a lot of growing up, Toy Story 2 on the PlayStation original. What really held it back to me is the kiddie design of it, the way it's constantly stopping you dead to explain mechanics in elongated roundabout ways - death by a thousand tutorials. Maybe I'm exaggerating a little, but I really wish there was a more streamlined game mode for you to blast through at sonic speed - drifting as a rat with the tire screech sound effect is so fun.

Can we talk about how this is one of the funniest speedruns ever? Like no offense to other runners but I think it's a fine line to be funny in an environment like this* and they absolutely killed it... Chef *Just to be fair, being funny isn't always about being problematic. I just think in an environment where you want to be considerate of every single person from every walk of life with every aspect of trauma, it's probably best if you don't joke at all. To still be funny with avoiding all of that is impressive.... Chef.

Thought I was losing my mind thinking Ratatouille was contemporary to Wii rather than GC, Wii came out 2006, Ratatouille was 2007, I feel vindicated, makes sense that it was early in the console lifecycle so got games on both.
