Or it's chef Gusteau's late mother since she had his cook book and was watching the cooking show about her possible late son Gusteau. Lots of ideas. Plus the old lady kind of has Gusteau's and Linguini's eyes too. It's 50/50. I gotta watch it again.

I think the old lady wasnt just the granny but also Ego's mom! Remy picked ratatouille for Ego to eat and review. Colette then says that it's a peasant dish. Remy proceeds to cook it anyways but in a specific way that makes Colette opposes to it. He sends the dish out and the first bite remind Ego of the dish his mother use to cook for him almost as if Remy exactly what it was. Also the childhood home in the countryside was similar to the house that Remy and his family were living in the beginning of the movie.

Especially if it’s an older locomotive that’s being scrapped, usually that number will be given to another and more modern locomotive. It also could be that a lot of locomotives around the world share the same number, the train in that movie is most likely an old French steam engine while the cars train is an American streamliner locomotive.

Okay here we go. Do you know why they have the jar trick in the scene where linguini lets the rat out of the jar? It's a distraction. What two Disney movies take place in Paris? That's right rattitulli and The Hunch Back of Notre Dame. Guess what building is clearly in the background of the scene were they talk before the rat is let out of the jar. That whole scene watch the background for a beautiful stain glass circular window. It's there. You can actually look up on Google maps where Notre Dame is and how far the empire state building is from there witch is close to where linguini lives. He rides his bike to and from work so his home and work place are about 20 mins apart by bicycle. Google maps will also tell you that the river he drops the jar with the rat still in it happens to be Seine River. Yes I did my research. Thank you for reading and enjoy
