s0nnyburnett indeed, my favorite part was when angela, or the thief before the big reveal, was making her way of the planet just as soon as ratchet and clank got to it. Then they question why they're always so late, and then break the forth wall by looking towards the player, like they know the player was doing so,e other side mission instead of staying on task. Forth wall breaks are the best, especially when they're acknowleging the game or the player.always gets me.
Exactly that😂 My brother used to play the game while I came up with the story only based on what I saw on screen (neither of us knew english). Its how we never argued as kids over who got to play. This way we both felt like we were playing it together
+Agent 005 It's sad the Thug Leader didn't appear in R&C: NEXUS since Thugs-4-Less were hired by Neftin Prog in that game. I suppose the Thug Leader was still in prison during those events, but still, he shoulda appeared or at least shoulda been mentioned in the game. He was one of the best characters in PS2 R&C games.
You know, I wonder why Ratchet wasn't surprised that he met a Female Lombax. I'm guessing he didn't know that the Lombaxes were endangered, Angela probably didn't know either.

Ratchet I loved Up your Arsenal more and then Going commando at the second place. He was looking so badass in those games. But now Ratchet looks like a seven year old kid .

It's funny how I never noticed the voice actor change when I played the sequel until I looked up Wikipedia. Maybe I was just an unperceptive kid but I couldn't help but feel that the change was so natural that I just easily went along with James Arnold Taylor's performance. It's like the change reflected Ratchet's maturation after his experiences in the first game and his transition to a more pleasant, responsible individual so it just felt 'right' Then ToD ruined it with Ratchet doubting Clank once more. Nothing to do with the voice actor but still, talk about inconsistent characterization :/
thefreeburningspirit That's hardly a fair comparison. In the original game, Ratchet just wasn't a particularly great character, it mostly boiled down to him being an angsty, kind of selfish teenager. In Tools of Destruction, his falling out with Clank is not only shorter, but it's also got a much more understandable motivation; Ratchet sees the chance to reunite with not only his people, but maybe even with his family, which is a hell of a lot more founded than just wanting revenge on a guy that tricked you. It's not only a better motivation, but it's also a very different one; a different experience means different lesson needs to be learned. When shit got real, he fessed up, and that's how it should work. If you look at Crack in Time and even Into the Nexus, Ratchet clearly regrets letting his desires get in the way of his friendship with Clank, he learned from it and matured a bit more as a result. To say they "ruined" anything by having Ratchet go through a bit of a rough patch is just silly, nobody is perfect.
I love the little detail at 31:56, where Ratchet's ears are a little more droopy than usual. It's reminiscent of his first encounter with the shady salesman in the first game.

So wasn't Angela pretty much a Lombax. Her and ratchet should've been having Lombax babies by the dozen to keep the species going lol. instead of that other Lombax in a Crack in Time that almost screwed up the timeline.
Wouldn't it be dope if they crossed over back in the day? Obviously they exist in the same universe, I.E, posters in the Jak and Daxter city, Clank's dance, etc. Crossovers man!

12:07 really warmed my heart tbh. He came from saying _to Clank’s face_ that he would sell him for scrap in the first game to threatening to kill the goon if he ever lays a finger on Clank. It shows how much growth Ratchet went through in the first game.
I used to play this game all the time, and I'm willing to bet all the money I'll make next month that Ratchet's helmet was completely on his head, and not floating around it the entire game!

***** Breaking the fourth wall is basically when the characters know their in a movie/game/tv show. And they look at the audience or reference something about their movie/game/tv show. So for instance, when the plumber said "See you in 1 year" he was referring to the next Ratchet and Clank game.
I'm pretty sure Angela Cross is voiced by the iconic voice actress Kathie Souci who is also known to play as Princess Tiffany the Pegasus princess pony in the G1 My Little Pony in the 1980s and Princess Sally Acorn from Sonic the Hedgehog:SATAM in the 1990s! ^-^

I admit I like the Smuggler in PS3 R&C games, but I miss the Shady Salesman and Slim Cognito for being so good black market salesmen. Another characters they should bring back from PS2 games are Skidd, Al, Thug Leader and Angela.
+nifinland Angela gets mentioned once in A Crack in Time, and that's in one of the space radio stations. Shame that they pretty much tossed her aside and forgot about her for a while until then :/ I really hope she'll appear in the movie coming out this year, but I'm not getting my hopes up...
