This has to be one of the greatest villains of all time. Its been a long time since i played these but i can still hear him screaming "LAWRENCCCCE!!!!" and "QAWAAARK!!!" like it was yesterday. Some of his jokes went over my head as a kid, that zinger from qawark about courtney gears was so savage for someone who is often portrayed as dumb lmao

Funfact! Lawrence uses 2 of the 4 possible gestures of thyrannoid conversations... He literally translates Nefarious' voice into the same thyrannoid language that you have to use sometimes to make them open doors for you.... He only knows more words

Sad that Lawrence wasn't present in Rift Apart. I guess Michael Bell didn't have time to reprise the roll. But still glad they acknowledged Lawrence and gave him some kind of closure with him being a father now. In general, I think they did a really good job with closing Nefarious character arc in Rift Apart.

Devil_Slayer Productions To be fair, who plays Ratchet and Clank for the story? There are only really a few exceptions with the story. We play more for the fun of playing the game, and exploring the world, and having fun experiencing each level. Ratchet and Clank is best at exploring the galaxy, having fun with each level, exploring the atmosphere, and facing enemies that come your way. The plots are more of a complementary side order that allow us to experience what the game has to offer. Although I do admit the voice direction and script could’ve been more in Insomniac’s voice acting studio’s control, make it closer to the humour and characterization we’re used to.

Devil_Slayer Productions But yeah, I honestly really like the reboot, because it’s honestly quite a good game. It arguably has the best gameplay, and playing through the levels are a lot of fun. Each weapon is handy and useful, and fun to use. The mechanics themselves are very smooth and polished, completed, perfected. Not to mention, the graphics/visuals are stunning, and the lighting is spot on. That’s just a bonus. I would like it even more if it had comparable humour and characterization like the originals had, and chemistry as well. If it did, I think it could’ve been the best Ratchet and Clank game. Hopefully they make another game, but without the studio for the movie being involved.

Hail Hydra I actually enjoyed the stories of these older R&C games lol. IMO I think they could've done the reboot better. Also didn't like Ratchet's design and just his character in general too much. He was too "cute". There's a lot more about the game that I didn't like but maybe it's just because i'm an older fan. The gameplay was pretty good though, i'll agree with you there.

I'd say that now Emperor Nefarious holds the title of coolest-looking R&C villain But it says a lot about the greatness of Dr. Nef's design that the only villain that looks better than him is an alternate version of himself
