An overview of what's needed to create a "ratcheting" patch where individual steps of a sequencer are re-triggered multiple times, plus a demonstration of how to create the patch using a voltage controlled clock multiplier.
This is the second in a series of 4 videos showing variations of this patch:
• Ratcheting: A Quick Ov...
• Ratcheting: Introducti...
• Ratcheting Using a Vol...
• Ratcheting Using a Clo...
And here's the article that ties it all together:

I'm diving into eurorack modular and this is great to know. Thanks in advance. Closest I've come to recreation once was a arturia keystep sequence and adjusted rate on the fly.

I think this channel is doing really well. Keep up the good work!

Thank you. It's very easy to get too excited and leave things out; I'm trying to make sure I include enough information for relative beginners as well as experienced users.

Great video dude! I've been wanting to ratchet my sequences for a project I've been working on..... I use a make noise rene as my main sequencer! Now I realise I have a purpose for my 4ms PEG..... all I need now is a Korg sq1and I'm sorted, it can do what you're doing with your doepfer sequencer!

How would you go about instead of multiplying the clock you wanted to divide the clock since the 0v from the sequencer equals to original clock? Would you need an offset generator in order to do negative volts?

Another video in this series demonstrates using a clock multiplier instead of divider. Here's the overall article that ties all the techniques together: learningmodular.com/patching-a-ratcheting-sequence/ And here's the playlist with all 4 videos: ru-vid.com/group/PLli7NH8pJF8TgLci8HhcbCYBespKDBGMX Sorry for the delayed reply; I tried to answer this before, but my reply seems to have disappeared. Hopefully this one sticks.
