Yeah this is one of my favorites along with D’Vorah’s too. Only thing I wish was different is a more horrifying scream when Noob eviscerates you with his sickle. Other than that it’s amazing.
I just noticed that the reason Johnny keeps having to do the uppercut fatality is because the boom mic was in the shot. Thus, the "who hired this guy, what the f*ck" was directed at him, not D'vorah.
It’s actually from a movie where he upper cuts the guy and his head is supposed to come straight off but it doesn’t you can look it up what is who hired this guy what the f*ck
@Mortario1 ;-;. If he was motioning to the boom mic guy the would not have motioned directly at D’vorah. Just because it’s in the general direction doesn’t mean it’s fact. Plus the whole point of the shot was to decapitate D’vorah, clearly they didn’t succeed with that. So why would Johnny be mad at the boom mic guy here? In the moment he was focused on uppercutting a head clean off so he got mad at the “actor” playing D’vorah. So I’m your mind: he failed, got mad, and directed his anger at the boom mic guy? I can’t believe we’re having this freaking discussion
After watching this "rate the finisher" series from MK4 to MK11, wow - the gore has come so far since then. Not just that, but the framing too - we went from a camera that gets clipped by gibs/walls and probably spins way too much, to every shot being perfectly framed for the most impact.
I think the thing with Skarlet's second Fatality is that she pumps *so much* blood into her opponent's heart that it just POPS from all of the pressure building inside. It's not so much her own blood being tainted or whatever.
Fun fact, if ya listen real close with Johnny's puppet show fatality, you can hear somebody actually just shouting "YOU SUCK!" way off in the background before the tomato hits.
Another fun fact, while you're Kustomizing Johnny Cage, if you angle the camera just right you can see the MK Dragon Logo in the reflection of his Glasses
6:38, The spine stays because bone actually doesn't melt, it warps; Scorpions fire melts through flesh but since bone doesn't melt that's all that's left.

What I also love about Johnny's Triple Uppercut finisher is he makes a reference from the Old MK movie when he shouts "WHO HIRED THIS GUY?!", which is something he said in the beginning of the film
Well one means it’s him just doing what he does all the time, like “hey I’m a guy with blades so I’m gonna cut you” and two means that it DEFINES who he is, like “I’m a savage that will make sure that not only will you die, parts of you will enter and exit my digestive system”
They complained about not burning through the spine, when his hellfire ignores bones most of the time anyways, like his Klassic fatality EDIT: fixed a mistake EDIT 2: fixed the error of the missing m in the first edit

Stop being dramatic. No one loses their mind. Some advertisers don't want their product advertised on videos with certain material. Advertisers is the reason why RU-vid is free for us to watch. So they have the most say.

The most likely reason your spine is still there when Scorpion goes through you is that bone has a higher melting point then flesh and organs. He turned into pure fire before he rips through you, making the spine still there.
That totem fatality actually gave me a twitch in my neck when I saw it for the first time. Something about the spine being kicked out like that really got me.
It's also possible he's not a completely solid object as he goes through her. If he's solid, it physically cant happen, but they aren't willing to use their imagination on that. He becomes fire.

One little detail about Johnny's uppercut fatality that makes it even awesomer to me: When he throws the head at the camera, the head actually closes it's eyes for impact then slowly opens them as it slides down the camera, lol. I love little attention to detail like that.
Honestly the reason why they made him do that I think is because with every fatality there is a gush of blood at the end So in order for there to be a gush of blood at the end of kollecters he just smashes your lungs so theres a gush of blood to keep the theme going
There's not a single character in the roster that doesn't have at least one really good one. Also, I don't know why but I actually really like the Kano headbutt fatality, it feels like a perfect fit for Kano's character and there's just something incredibly brutal about this violent aussie smashing your skull into paste with his. I agree that Johnny's are the best overall though.
