Yo....my first time ever seeing Cassandra's Critical Finish. I had the SAME reaction! Like WTF?! I was so dying. Their reaction is the truth. My girl represented with that 10/10. Well deserved.
Fighting games should go back to their old ways, like when u started with 6 character's and had to grind the game to get the rest. Now its only online that has playability
@@TheDapperDragon the concept of grinding for characters should still be there, of course nobody wants basic move sets and no new combos. Only reason fighting games are becoming boring and out dated is because its too repetitive, constant dlcs for characters is just a money grab now. I dont need your credit pal u can keep it ya big jesse
@@Zangelin maybe u did but the majority of players were good enough at the game to unlock them the proper way. People only used cheats on gta, have a good one kid, get some rest its late u have school in the morning
Fun Fact: Siegfried and Veigue from Tales of Rebirth have the same japanese VA and kinda the same fighting style, Veigue also controls ice. Its probably the reason that Siegfried finisher in this game is very similar with Veigue Mystic Arte on Tales of the World: RM3 where you can clearly see Veigue using Siegfried's Soul Calibur.
The thing about Cassandra’s critical finish is that it goes from being pure anime fan service shit to being the most nasty, brutal move in the game if you swap her shield out with the one that has a spike in the center.
For the Apprentice (aka starkiller) that last part where you said "The power of my crotch!" Its a reference to The Force Unleashed. It was a power he had
Raphaels sword is called flambert. Also lore for why rock and astharoth have the same super. Astharoth is a golem who was created based on rock so the correct way to say this would be astaroth super is the same as rocks
this boss rate it was sponsored by "The Fallen Devil Gym" where there motto is "everyday is leg day" Wilson and Fallen Devil are good friends. Thus why we never see his bottom half in home improvement. His legs would be too big for tv
I'll be honest, I didn't even know 4 had no idea critical finishers. By the time I owned a copy of the game the only people online were people who've clearly have been playing since the game came out and none of them ever used a Critical Finisher.
I hate 6-10 focused rating systems. Like what’s the point of 1-5. People are afraid for some reason to give something decent a 5. Like it’s an insult. That’s what 5 is for. Just, decent.
My take away from this is that no matter what soul calibur he's in Zasalamel has the best super. Whether he's banishing you to the shadow realm in 4 or freezing you in time and snapping his fingers in 6 he's just got so much style with his super.
Boss: "alright attendant, send the next person in to be interviewed. I want a worker that's memorable and is good with people" *Brooklyn Killa steps in* "YOU GOT THE JOB!!!!" Attendant: have you been drinking too much again?
William Lacy They know that, what they were arguing about was something someone in chat said, which was that Amy is the human form of Raphael’s sword. I don’t know who the hell said that. May have been joking tbh.
No more!! 😟😫😧😖 No more!! 😫😫😫😫😭😭😭 "YOU'RE THE ONE WHOSE GONNA DIE." Me: SHUT UP ALREADY 😰😡 I swear it was cool the first 5 times I've seen and heard it but after so many times in every freaking tournament since the damn character came out god man I'm just so done with that character.
*For me Nightmare, Siegfried, Taki, Astaroth, Vader and Algol have the best ones, also can't wait for RATE THE SUPER for SC6 now.* Also one MAJOR I want Algol back too.
Character: *Critical is just hitting the guy real hard* Max: "Whoa, cool that's a 9/10" Yun-Seong: *does a flashy finish* Max: "Ew, that's a 6/10" Dude what?
Amy's CF is Raphael's recycled B-throw from SC2. Not creative. Setsuka's CF is flashy and unique. It has impact. Makes you feel like that character was decisively sliced in half.
Yeah Amy's can be a little underwhelming until you realize how much pain the opponent must be in not to mention how fast this critical finish is it takes about 2 seconds you might think that's a little too fast but then you count how many hits Amy lands 20 total and using physics she hit about 10 of these strikes in 1 second flat and depending on RNG you might hear a different voice line after instead of her saying "Pathetic..." She very rarely might say this instead: "Does it hurt?" Which is also used by Ivy in her Critical Finish as well so alongside giving you multiple puncture wounds including a stab between the eyes by saying those words she literally disrespects your corpse by insulting you after the final strike! Enough that in reality it is quite truly fatal and very disrespectful but still very brutal
I thought this was an old video, but then Max said, "It's similar to Soulcalibur VI [about Sophitia's finish]." The funny thing is people still play SCIV online on PS3! Crazy.
It's been so long since I played _SCIV_ that I barely remember any of these… so I'm gonna default to Seong Mi-na 'cause she's my "heart and soul girl." =3 Although I do recall Taki's was cool. (Granted, I remember Critical Finishing an online opponent in the first round as Siegfried 'cause he just kept blocking _everything._ Damn.) *Eᴅɪᴛ:* Oh, God, I just remembered… when Raphael does his Critical Finish on Amy, doesn't he say, _"ah, sweet nectar?!"_ *Eᴅɪᴛ²:* Seeing Xianghua's Critical Finish again reminded me of the D&D archmage I had recreated with her style-performing a "full-round attack" with a mithral longsword and ending with a quickened _fireball_ modified into a 5-ft. diameter via "mastery of shaping" and dealing lightning damage via "mastery of elements." Granted when _V_ came out I swapped out Xianghua/Leixia's style with Viola's crystal ball…
