I noticed that you own knives named Guardian a lot. No worries I am the Serrated Sir! We should nickname ourselves according to some spec of our knife preferences?
A true addict, "... This completed the collection..." We all know, the collection is NEVER complete, there's always one more to acquire. Go rebels... Did Spyderco ever make a star wars addition? If not, they should create a wookie special.
@Eric Ocasio Spyderco is my favorite mnf. (they single handedly have created a life time financial crisis) and they have soooo many knives that's why I was wondering if somewhere in the past (during the early Star War days) if they had done a specific design with Star Wars in mind. I figured one of you guys would probably know.
@@ItsKYRO13 so what does that have to do with him returning for a knife banter. They bring RU-vidrs on for knife banters. He still has a passion for knives.
In “Zac Needs a New Knife” he mentioned that there was an interesting story behind the Frost Cutlery Gator Back. I think it would be a cool video idea to bring some older knives and tell some story’s behind them, like bens slipjoint cut, the gator back, etc
Steven looking at Ben holding that Pelican Case full of his other knives looked like a first time father watching a stranger hold their child. Haha! Great video and collection!
1st - Steven your collection is wonderful! I can totally relate 2nd- Is there a standard height/length for short sleeves at BladeHQ??!! 3rd- You need some Benchmade 940 Osborne’s in your collection. 4th- I think I am having a financial crisis & need a Southern Grind SpiderMonkey! p.s. The “struggle” was real
Steve - you're alive??!!? Another great Knife Banter! Steve has sharpened all of my knifes and each one is not only Bloody sharp, but symmetrical and amazing! Nice collection - still think they should have added 1 or 2 more.... Steve needs a Reate! I am partial to the Valhalla myself. Oh, Karbadize and @WalkerCustoms1911 do some STUNNING work!
You guys should do a parody Knives Anonymous meeting. That would be hilarious. My girlfriend asked the other day how many knives I needed. The answer is obvious: just one more ...
First knife i bought with my own money at the age of 16 I'm 50 now it was a Buck 110 still have it till this day. Anyone else remember your first knife and do you still have it
tommy6gun2 my first knife was a 110 and some nameless old school switch blade from a small shop outside Jackson hole. I was about 13 on a camping trip from MN, and could not believe the guy sold me the knives... not too long ago I’m only 26 now. Sadly lost those knives getting into mischief in my younger days.
Two things: One- There are other options than Empire or Jedi. My Ultratech wears a Mandalorian skull. And B) Steven needs a Spyderco. Probably a PM2. Customization options await!
he's missing a spydiechef, paramilitary 2, zt 0909, swiss army knife, mora bushcraft black, esee 4, sog mini aegis, kershaw cryo in d2 steel, ontario rat 2 in d2, spyderco delica
Steven collects knives the way I do. I just go with what pulls me in. Unfortunately, there is no Pelican case I could put all my knives in that I could pick up.
You lucky son of a gun. I have to save for a year to be able to treat myself to a new knife unless I drop one off the Bridge. (Usually my Leatherman) 😥
Speaking of leatherman, I really love my crater c33. It's a really reliable piece I'll probably be seen as cheap for this comment, but I really find myself carying it alot.
Robert Stubblefield I was throwing a cast net around tocatch bait for fishing and I chucked my first quality knife in the middle of a pond ...rip leather man skeletool 😂😭
Steven should have a self customised Opel No 8. That could be a knife banter episode, give No 8's to some of the staff and see what they can come up with modification wise.
Slowly catching up on your videos. Always good fun, I look up every knife on your website during the podcast. My wishlist grows exponentially each time I see your videos. Darn it ;)
I have a few Pelican or Apache cases that size full besides a couple more partially full lol. I filled one up since Black Friday lol. I bought a Apache 3800 and went online that night and ordered Nalpak foam cut for 40 knives in that size case, this was 2 days before Thanksgiving. I have filled it and half another case since lol. To many good deals going and to many discontinued Spydercos and Benchmades I wanted this year lol. I have a Berg Blades Iron Pup on the way now from Knifecenter and a CKF Ossum, Kizer Mini Begleiter, and Reate Starboy from BHQ on the way too have a bunch of knives pre ordered on Massdrop waiting on too and I pre ordered a bunch of the Spyderco sprints between a few sites. Just got the Rex45 Shaman from Knifecenter the other day same day my Rike M3 from Massdrop showed up and my GiantMouse GM6 as well all 3 showed up in the mail box that day what a day lol. I can't believe I got that GiantMouse. I forgot about the drop and like 3 days later they posted on FB they still had some left and I jumped on the site and bought one right then lol.
Lol something I could rely on.... A 10 dollar paraframe you can "depend on" for city people like him and my self.. Think about it, we open mail, some boxes and cut paper and arm hair to test our edge.. We go home and hit the strop every time we use them and so on and so forth...
It didn't void your warranty because if you ever need to send it in all you have to do is disassemble your knife and strip the ano, it's really easy to take ano off.
I liked Caleb's Sweet Century prototype designed by Ken Steigerwalt in 2006. Did it ever come on the market?. Ken and I have been good friends ro 40 years! He will be a featured vendor again at the Lehigh Valley Knife Show, Easton, Pennsylvania, May 4 & 5, 2019. Join us, www.PAKnifeShow.com I have beautiful knives he made when he was a teenager over 35 years ago.
Why bladehq does not deliver products to India ?? I want to buy knives and flashlights. I visited your site but disappointed on checkout. There is no option to select India.😢😢
I have been wanting the Boker Mini Kwaiken but Because I live in Canada I cannot get it :( . That brass and micarta is amazing. That is hands down my favorite looking knife I have seen. Canada's knife laws are so dumb.
Do I video for best knives for teens . I am 14 and carry a kershaw filter and a case stockman with stag handles. Of course I have my parents permission to carry and buy . I am planning on getting a boker urban trapper plus in cocoa bola wood soon any suggestions?
If there wasn't a fixed blade i woulda given this collection a rating of 5/10, but since he does have a fixed blade & a damn good one at that (Guardian 3) i will give it a 7.5/10
I carry an Izula everyday. Believe it or not I carry it tip up with the handle running down my right side. It eliminates my gut from getting in the way as I am also a bigger guy. The factory sheath has such good retention that don't worry about it falling out.
Hey man i feel ya. The Kershaw chive was my first knife and i lost it which really fucking sucks because i loved that tiny piece of american steel. Go American Made Kershaws
I have 2 spyderco knives. One is the tenacious and other is resilience. U guys never talk about the resilience , why? I think it cut great for the money.
I carry a fixed knife on The Daily connect knife they're amazing I don't know why you guys don't like him or they're handy is hacked they're always there they seem always right in your hand when you need it
What you need to do is throw out those useless folders and replace them with fixed blades. You get a c because you have one fixed blade and your favorite color is purple.
