It is a rhythm game where the player must press the arrows at the exact time, rhythm and direction with the music to simulate the protagonist of the game (Boyfriend), participating in various forms of "rap and dance battles" and other musical contests. . If the player loses too many arrows, the song fails, a life bar at the bottom of the screen turns green and red, the green becomes smaller. If the life bar runs out, the player automatically loses.
