I only tried Nando’s once, and that was enough to never try again. It’s supposed to be Portuguese/African food, but there’s no Nando’s in Portugal at all. From what I tasted here in the UK, it’s nothing like Portuguese or African bbq chicken. They boil the unseasoned chicken, and then put it on the grill when ordered, and then put on a lot of sauce on top of it, so if you remove the skin there’s no flavour. Angolans and Portuguese when grilling, they do so from raw, and the chicken is seasoned, and they only have 2 sauces:garlic and olive oil, or piri-piri and olive oil.

@@auntympho yes the one in the UK. I found that a lot of takeaways in the UK who ser “peri-peri chicken” often do that, it’s never grilled from raw, or seasoned.
