Thank you so much, I love anything Viking as they are in my ancestry, also love history and graveyards. I am first time subscriber, cheers from Sth Australia 🇦🇺
Thanks for sharing the skull hole, never seen anything like it! Filled with ivy now hiding old bones probably It looked certainly eerie. Did the seashells on the graves have a significant meaning or was they just used as decoration? I laughed when you mentioned the corduroy trousers😅 yes teachers seem to wear them lol. Interesting vlog Shayne i enjoyed watching!
Hi Anna. Thanks so much. Seashells are an ancient Christian symbol referring to religious pilgrimages and spiritual protection. During the Middle Ages, pilgrims often wore scallop shells. Seashells were also used to mark the path for those on a pilgrimage.
Hi Natalie, thanks for your reply concerning the seashells. Good way to make use of the seashells that i love. Very interesting that they used them for protection. Good filming i could definitely feel the atmosphere there, i would be very scared at night in that place....
It's very sad to think this was a cemetery you Would think someone would clean the cemetery Up and if everyone would get together just help it would be a beautiful cemetery again
