Also as an Filipino hearing that Philippine EAS alarm is scarrier than waking up at 3am thinking about the tikbalang is watching you at the window in a kubo
As an Indonesian, The 1950s indonesian alarm FREAKED me out. It sound's like an ice cream truck but hearing that at night, Sound's like a ghost is playing a music (Indonesia is just filled with scary stories.) Edit: MAMA I'M FAMOUS Edit2: 1K LIKES? Edit3: HOLY S- Edit4: MOM THERES A KUNTILANAK-

You’re right, the Australian alarm isn’t that scary- I live there, but when hearing the actual thing loudly through speakers it’s quite terrifying (just because it’s my country and I have grown to live with it)
The Irish EAS alarm is terrifying, it's just the same simple as hell noise playing over and over and yet it's so unsettling despite being such a chill EAS alarm
I’m from Jamaica and the Jamaican EAS alarm literally scared me so much that my parents had to tell me to cover my ear when it went off but I grew into it.
The indonesian one sent chills down my spine. Somethng about a song so inncocent as to an icecream truck being an EAS alarm is just creepy. It felt like you were walking in the dark and you suddenly hear that.
Shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up shut shut it
As an Australian the alarm is usually played with a voice over saying "This is an emergency Broadcast please standby" but yeah it sucks. it's also played at a louder sound.
Most of these alarms would be scary if you just woke up cold. Really loud alarms (it feels like everywhere around you is covered) . Everyone moving, and feeling lost
I like how egypt's alarm is just spitting words on the mic for no reason, IMAGINE HEARING THAT, it would make me have to put over a million headphones on my ears, cant believe i live in egypt now.
Imagine being in an Aldi (store if u don’t know,) and EVERYONE’S phones go off with a tornado warning alarm at the same exact time. That happened once.
4:26 The Indonesian one is made with the sound of Gamelan, a traditional Indonesian musical instrument. And gamelan is often used to summon spirits for offerings. If you hear that in a remote village, run as fast as you can because you don't want to see anything scary right?
As a Australian our alarm is one of the scariest simply because whenever you hear it in 2020 your just wanting to get out since a fire might be flying to you.
5:26 The way you said "But I dont live in the Philippines!" In such confusion reminded me of that one time I was on a trip with my fam and suddenly the Peruvian alarm started going on our Toyota Wigo and I said "But we don't live in Peru don't we?" And "Or maybe this car came from Peru?" With nervousness
4:43. I am Asian. If you were to watch an Indonesian/Malaysian/Singaporean/Philippine/Thailand movie, that sound would absolutely freak you out. With the girl holding a teddy bear in the hallway while the dude freaking out Oh My Gosh. Edit: Also rate the EAS of Afghanistan, Tuvalu, Nauru, Taiwan, Norway, Paraguay, Tunisia, Somalia, Liechtenstein, Papua New Guinea, Kyrgyz, Kiribati or Qatar. (I highly recommend Tuvalu, Kiribati or Kyrgyzstan.)
living in the Philippines scares me alot, because of the tsinelas and hanger is just so terrifying anyways 1941 Philippine EAS alarm is an ice cream truck like its the ice cream truck sound without anything weird like the the other Germany alarm on the Ukrain part alr ik that isn't the same topic but im just telling ok? nice video and the one that scares me alot is the amogus sound
When I was little, I got an amber alert on my phone when I had never gotten one before. I legit thought something bad was happening so I was screaming and running to tell my dad that there was a weird alarm coming from my room and he was just like "you got an amber alert bruh" and I was really embarrassed because my brother saw me lol. I don't think I've been more scared then that lol
Thailand's EAS alarm sound like a plane with police cars in the background, I'm from the Philippines BTW and I've heard a plane before, it was actually kind of close to our car like there was an airport near where we were driving😂
When I heard the egypt EAS alarm it reminded me of the cops speakers ,Every EAS alarm is good.As an Egyptian I should say no hates of my EAS alarm or others, respect your country alarm because every country came with good things so you should rate it instead of launching!
5:21 This actually happened to me. My phone didn't play the alarm though (probably becuz it's from China) but my brothers tablet played it. It was a earthquake (Like a Mag. 5 or smth) somewhere in Visayas though I was in Binangonan, a province next to Metro Manila so I was like a island away but damn it scared me that I didn't sleep for an hour straight
fun fact: did u know that Australia has Christmas in summer and they have a surfer Santa? meanwhile us (the USA or whatever country that has Christmas in winter) being freezing cold, we need, like 5 sweaters or jackets. Also, Germany and Norway's alarms...: 😱 ಥ‿ಥ
I changed my mind about working for the Ukraine miltary. I'm already gonna die from suffering a heart attack before I'd even start fighting, at it would all be because of that damn alarm. Oh yeah, and I live in Ohio. The EAS alarm there accurately represents the one used for tornado drills, and trust me, they play that siren at least 3 times a month.
As a Filipino when i was a child when i heard that alarm when a typhoon came in our city i was terrified as a mouse getting chased by a cat but now i'm a full grown woman now it just freaks me out

The fake one has a great beat and the polish from 1939 really scared me it’s like a warning from a devil little girl 😱😱😱 I rate it as a 10000000000000000000000000000/10
