I love that Nick doesn’t pretend to be above fast food restaurants and doesn’t act like they taste like garbage. He is a cook and prefers the finer, fancier foods, but loves some good ass McDonald’s.
I used to dislike chicken sandwich/burger because it is far inferior compared to beef ones (I had mostly grilled chicken ones). But the first chicken sandwich that changed my mind was the McSpicy Deluxe from McDonalds, it was a super tasty and juicy fried chicken sandwich. They made it really well that I only get chicken sandwich/burger every time I go to a fast food joint. Later on, I continued to try ones from KFC, Popeyes, etc. I must say I am addicted to fried chicken sandwich now lol
Yooo go to your local diner, I mean I live out in Colorado where there's lots of local dinners and the people there put love into their food, I definitely wasn't fan of Chicken sandwiches for the exact same reason, especially not no mcspicy either lol no offense, real (no hormone chicken) chicken that has been taken the time to be prepped is far better i prooomise
When I worked at KFC we were half and half with Taco Bell. I was always the only one working in the KFC side, and I had a side cook here and there. I found KFC is probably the easiest fast food place I worked at, and it blows my mind that people still continue to fuck up there. You're quite literally just frying chicken all day and restocking. With that said, Popeye's has the best chicken sandwich.
Literally every mcdonalds I ever go to gets something wrong, anything from forgetting the ketchup to leaving out the sandwich and just giving me the fries
@@rayhanahemed5791 yeah I know 🥴. I was trying to point out that that’s why those that work with quality food criticise it they can tell it is good just cheap.
@@Mae-bu2wu right? like its not gourmet food duh, but they rate it like it should be. Dude its fast food then rate it as fast food, cheap but good emaright?
The difference between Nick and Joshua Weissman is that Nick tries to compliment the fast food where he can and Josh tries to shit on it wherever he can xD
I love the way he respects every worker and he never say bad word about the food also one more thing is that he don’t waste food even tho the food is bad
@@IH8AI by far the worst customer service. Burger king is a close second. My local Burger King, you'll be in the drive through for 15-20 minutes. No bullshit.
@@squish162 not hating on it lol... just saying I use to manage a popeyes until I moved last year.. and I’m telling you the truth.. but go off big fella
Nick lies and lies about Chick-Fil-A and he knows in a blind test their chicken will always be the best! Period, End of Story!!!!! But they want to go by the whole sandwich and not the chicken itself! I so get tired of Tube fakers! who make so much money but aren't really honest!
Exactly. Someone that doesn’t do the spicy’s really doesn’t get an opinion. Spicy is already above regular on all of them so not doing spicy means you’re starting at like the 5th place one with the best regular one lol
I just recently found your channel, hasn't disappointed once. That being said, I did this exact thing you did around the whole Popeyes chicken sandwich kick. For my rankings top 3 was KFC taking the number uno chick-fil-a taking silver and Popeyes coming a very close 3rd. Even though chick-fil-a does tent to over cook there bird, it really came down to sauces and service. In my opinion you really can't beat a place who's been in the chicken game since 1952. Again great video. I haven't been disappointed since subscribing.
Joshua Weissman with fast food: IT DOESNT EVEN COMPARE TO THIS 200$ TRUFFLE BURGER ITS AWFUL Nick With fast food: It tastes pretty good despite the squished bun and no seasoning
As someone who used to work at Chick-fil-A, the crunchiness varies based upon how fresh the coater is. When they put fresh coater in the pan (especially when they changeover from breakfast and the whole pan is fresh), the coating is will be super thin. As they use it, it will clump up and add a lot of texture. So the first sandwiches of the day are usually the worst. That said, Popeyes is still better
@@cowetascore8476 I will agree that pressure cooking with the Henry penny is super consistent. The variability is in how it is breaded. I've probably had 100s of chickfila sandwiches, and they were all good. I've only had maybe 5 popeyes sandwiches. So while I can't say for sure they're as consistent, I've never had a bad one there either. The difference is that popeyes is more complex, especially without sauces.
Not it is not, not even close, I have had Popeyes so so many times, and their chicken has yet to taste as good as Chick-Fil-A! Period... not even close!
I was surprised by how good the Burger King hand breaded spicy chicken sandwich was. It was crispy, had good flavor and was very good for fast food crispy chicken sandwiches.
burger king has one of the best chicken sandwiches everytime i get them they look how the popeyes looked the burger king he went to is the worst burger king sandwhich i’ve seen lol
watching Nick review these sandwiches has changed my entire view of eating food entirely. he's literally leveled up my sense of taste completely and changed the way I think about the flavor of foods.
Why did schools and the stock market dictate what time the day starts? I get if kids want to play sports or go outside they must get out of school early enough but why do days have to start so early? No reason a normal business day can start around 10-11 and end around 6-7... I never understood the people that just love to go to bed at 9-10pm and get up 4-5am..
That "little body" in the Colonel Sanders picture is actually a "western bow tie" or more commonly called a string tie. But now that you called it a little body I can't unsee it! 😁
At 3:26 he did a move that my mom always does with my food. I call it "The Little Bite". They say that they're gonna take a little bite so you're fine with it, until you see the size of their bite. They open their mouths as wide as they can and completely obliterate half of the food.
My partner will take a "little bite" tell me he hates it, then take another "little bite" to make sure he still hates it. Then he takes a THIRD "little bite" and finally concludes that yes, my food is gross. By then I don't have anything and I never even got to try a second bite.
Nick: Pulls up to McDonalds" I don't know how you add deluxe by just adding tomatoes and lettuce" Me:....... This is what Chick-fil-A does 😂😂 *Best saying of the year*
I work at Chick-fil-A and it’s pretty clear that our chicken sandwiches have a different flavor than most, and that’s because it’s fried in Peanut oil. It overall has a different and better flavor than most.
"Have the tried their chicken tenders, the new ones?" I'm assuming she's talking about the Nashville Hot tenders that recently went viral on TikTok, but have been at KFC for several years now.
@@anthonyb2990 People love thousand island dressing. In N Out does it right too. If Wendys uses thousand island instead of ketchup and mayo, their burgers would taste 100% better.
Something you will learn about fast food. The worse the customer service, the better the food you are about to eat. When there is a long line and it takes forever to get through and the people aren't kind - it typically means there is something other than the customer service bringing all those people in.
There is sauce in the McDonalds crispy chicken sandwich. the sauce is butter. it probably melted into the bun. but if you buy the deluxe instead of the regular it comes with mayo instead of butter along side with lettuce and tomatoes. then they also got the spicy chicken which has a different spicy sauce (tastes both creamy and spicy).
5:16 Yes, they take longer to make than the regular McChickens The McChicken is somewhere around 3 and a half minutes to fry. The crispy chicken is around 7 or so minutes to fry. - A McDonalds Employee
Chick-fil-A's spicy chicken sandwich is better than the original. I prefer the honey roasted bbq sauce. Also, the CEO of Raising Cane's is one of the best human beings ever. He cares about his employees, pays them well, treats them like humans, has a scholarship fund, builds Habitat homes and donates to animal shelters. He recently bought every single Cane's employee a lottery ticket. I'd give them my business any day.
