If you love Mary&May Essence, try their intense cream! It leaves skin very silky and smooth because it packs with antioxidant and emollients. Truly underrated gem ❤
I love this format! Somehow the emoji rating leads to more elaborate and precise reviews, rather than just saying "It was heavier than the other one, so I'll give it one star less"
Don’t feel bad AT ALL if you have to chuck something once in a while. You do a great job finishing up products so don’t make yourself suffer! I loved this empties video adding the rating system! How fun!☮️💜
Such a fun concept !!!!! Also i have to thank you as i bought the boj green plum clenser on your recommendation and needless to say it has become my all time favorite !!!!!!!! Always love your recs
I bought the purito cream off your recommendation and love it so much! It feels so moisturizing without feeling too heavy for my dehydrated combo skin. It’s a new staple
I 😍 the Avene Thermal Spring Water Spray 💧 I use it before my skin routine. I've tried the La Roche Posay and I prefer the Avene. I recently tried the Mary & May blackberry cream essence and I prefer Dr Ceuracle
have you tried the egg method with stratia liquid gold and stratia interface it’s so good i love it. 1 pump on interface and 1-3 pumps of liquid gold depending on the day. stratia even markets this combo!
I've recently emptied the geek and gorgeous jelly joker cleanser, niod survival 0, niod modulating glucosides and skin1004 hyalu cica sunscreen. i also have many backups of that sunscreen.
Think you’re future me! I’m literally just finishing up Jelly Joker, survival 0, modulating glycosides and skin1004. All repeat purchases for me apart from the sunscreen (though I did buy 2 of these so have a backup!)
I also 😍 the cerave cream to foam cleanser. It's perfect for those of us who want a nonstripping cleanser that still foams and removes sunscreen. The skin1004 hyalu cica sunscreen is 🤩. It's the best sunscreen I've ever tried. I mostly use it in the cooler months or days I'm mostly working in the office when I don't need something sweat resistant.
I bought Stratia liquid gold. Its not a bad cream...I just don't prefer it. I have noticed it also sticks to my pillowcase if I use it at night leaving a stain. It does wash out though, but still. I guess I just don't find it better than others. I still find Illiyoon's ato cream best.
I have dry skin and have to put something in top of the stratia liquid gold as it’s great on my mature skin but just isn’t occlusive enough. I top it with illyoon or the purito sleeping pack.
I know what you mean, it isn't a rich or occlusive cream. I use it just like Kiwibird1980 says and it's so much better that way! Maybe treat it like a serum or emulsion under your favorite moisturizer.
Hi Kelly or anyone reading this. just a few months ago had pretty bad acne but half a year ago i decided to start using a retinoid and i chose the Geek and Gorgeous A Game 5 and later moved on to the A Game 10. i used to be very oily which is why i also started using lighter moisturizers. My acne is practically gone now 6 months into using Retinal but my skin has also been feeling tighter and a light moisturizer (like the new Beta Glucan Moisturizer from the Ordinary) doesn’t really do the job anymore, especially for night time. the problem is that i’m incredibly scared of thicker and more occlusive moisturizers because in the past i used the cerave tub moisturizer and it made my acne so much worse due to its occlusivity. do you have any recommendations for thicker and more rich moisturizers for my now tighter and a little drier „combo skin“ without the risk of my acne returning? i’ve been thinking about using the Happier Barrier from Geek and Gorgeous for the night time but A LOT of people on here only recommend it for dry skin so i’m not quite sure if it’s suited for my acne prone skin
great video like always! I've been wanting to use Niod Modulating Glucosides, but have no idea how to fit into my routine... in the morning I use vit c and azaleic acid already, in the evening adapalene and 2 nights a week exfoliate. The thought of introducing another serum seems too much. I'm curious about your current routine, would love to watch a video about it 😉
Thank you Kelly, I love Illiyoon. This summer is too much for my skin. I was trying to choose between the Anua Heartleaf 70% Soothing Cream and SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Soothing Cream. I am combo skin but lean more oily in the summer. Which would you recommend?
I haven't tried the Anua so I can't speak to it but I find the Centella Soothing cream very light and it's possible it won't be enough for your combo skin (even leaning oily) I can't say for sure but I think it's best for classically oily skin types.
I have oily skin and I have been using purito oat-in calming gel cream for summer. It so light, calming and helps hydrate my skin without the oily feeling. My bf uses it as well and it helps with his breakouts:)
You can use them together! That myth comes from a really old study from the 1960's and skincare formulation, knowledge and testing has come very, very far since then.
I’d say probably not. I’ll be 60 next month & my go to cleanser is Purity Made Simple Cleanser by Philosophy. It’s gentle yet removes even waterproof mascara and makeup. Cleans the pores very well. Doctors helped to formulate this. I refer you to the videos by QVC, fir the Info & demos. Ulta, Sephora, even TJMAXX sometimes has this cleanser. You only need about a dime size amount. I use it sometimes with my Clarisonic brush. It has been a game changer for my skin.
